Tu Taco Taco Shop, Chula Vista CA

Just ordered a Burrito and is paper thin no meat. Won't go back if they give me a free one. Twelve bucks, what happened to good l'taco shops.

Had the flaming hot burrito and it was good the burrito was like a regular burrito but with flaming hot powder on it, couldn't really taste the flaming hot but all in all the food was good

Overall good food but it has been on a slight decline. I used to come often before and the food was great. However, the past 3-4 times that I have been here the food has been meh or something from my order has been missing. Prices are not cheap but they are competitive relative to what other taco shops charge. Will most likely keep coming whenever im back in town but they for sure need to do some improvements.

First time I ordered from this restaurant. They give you good portion sizes for what you order. Burritos are huge. The food is delicious. I'll be definitely coming back. Thanks Tu Taco Shop!

The food is pretty good but the menu says one price and they charge you something else. Bought a carne asada quesadilla, the menu says $9.75 and I was charged $10.50 plus tax and they charge a 0.65 credit card fee. Ended up paying $12 for a small quesadilla. Will not come back to this place. I can pay $12 for a giant quesadilla filled with birria for that same price elsewhere.

I love this taco shop but they be lacking on their burritos. This cali burrito is paper thin and had nothing but like a couple fries.

Thank goodness for TU Taco Taco. So most days I wake up craving Biria. This morning I was really hoping to find the right spot. One that would offer me a quiet table to read and eat, that would give me what I crave, the best Biria Taco with loads of melted cheese.

I stopped at TJ Biria in National City, but they literally ignored me. I sat at a table I had to wipe down and no one ever acknowledged me while I watched them wait on others after me. It makes me wonder, es porque Soy Rubia? The only white girlfriend to come to your restaurant by herself? Ignore her and she will go away… so I did.

I drove here to TU Taco Taco! Highland Ave. It’s so non assuming. It’s clean. It’s chill. The Biria Taco (2) is RICO! It’s why I crave it. The consume is sooo good, I was served a little side of it and it was delicious. The green salsa is fresh and spicy and so yummy!

I’ll probably be here a few times a week for my Biria fix!

They gave us free chips and were very friendly. I want to go back to hang out with them. Great guys.

I live in the area. Been coming here for at least 6 years. Never had any issues but just got 2 carne asada burritos and 60% of each one was ONIONS @ $21.75. Lort, please know I will never be coming back. The quality has slid so far back I think you need to start over.

Fantastic crunchy beef tacos! The shells, and chips are really good. I actually get sad whenever I reach my last bite of my third taco. I'm going to bump it up to four next time! Cero is a good guy providing great service and delicious food! The decor is cool, and the place is clean. Its so nice to have great food in this location! Its been a while.

Great tasting and the salsa is the best I've had in Chula. Portion is highly satisfying. Definitely recommended.

The store closes at 10pm. If you try calling at 9: 44pm dont worry they wont answer the phone. I called 2 times with no answer. On the third call they answered telling me to try again tomorrow then told me that the store closes at 9: 45. I only wanted to order a burrito would have only taken 5-10 min. I was walking towards the store as i was calling. Then in a distance after they answered my call i saw them closing the door. Upon inspection it says clearly at the door that they close at 10pm. They saw me (the cook and the cashier) telling me with handsigns that they were close. Then i pointed at the hour 10pm thats written all over the door. The cashier attended me at the door, telling me it was closed. I responded that i had arrive 10 min before closure, but she told me that 9: 45pm was the last order. I told her i called 3 times until they ansered me, but she insisted they were closed. I told her i just wanted a burrito, the cook was just standing there at his station watching and listening to the entire conversation. It was really dissapointing. They didnt want my money.
FYI last time i ordered here they gave me the wrong order, i called so they told me i can go back and get my order. When i returned home i got a really sad burrito. I mean really sad. The entire thing was just sloppy. Usually the burrito are nice and packed. It felt like it was my fault.
If you are in chula vista and like burritos i suggest go to los taquitos on 3rd. Only bummer is cash only. Its good though.:)

The price of the food at this establishment went up. But the quality of the food did not follow. But, I have to be honest, the mozzarella sticks were the only item good on the menu. So two stars. The pizza establishment next door was amazing.
