I honestly don't know how this place is rated so high. Worst Veterinary I have ever been to. They rush you for an answer that includes money all they care for. Have no mercy nor respect towards pets in their last hours alive. The workers should be taken accountable. No one in this place takes responsibility nor has respect.

Great service, attentive, and showed great compassion to our pet. I liked that they offered us different estimates of treatments.

Called 10 min before we went in yes bring ur dog in sounds bad so I’m extremely worried. Get there go to Fresno or Bakersfield we’re booked can u just look and guide ur in the health business

I had a question about my cat having his whole tail de-gloved by a dog and all the receptionist would say was that she couldn't give medical advice in her robotic tone. I wasn't asking for medical advice!

Man, these guys were soo good to me. I've used them twice for two different pets. This last time was to lay my baby boy to rest. They shipped him off to Eden Memorial for cremation. They were all so nice. Thank you guys so much for all your help in such a rough time. I greatly appreciate it.

I've brought my dog here on an emergency and they were amazing. I like the staff and the vet seems to really care about the animals that come into office. I can't say anything bad about this place.

I took my kitten here. Unfortunately, we ended up opting for euthanasia. They were very supportive and gave me lots of information to make my decision. We received excellent, compassionate care here. I was always seen quickly as well. Prices are fair considering the convenience of services provided. I hope no one has to go here but I recommend it if you do.

I called at 4: 30 am to make sure he could be seen since I would be driving 30 min in the opposite direction of any other vet. I let her know I was driving from Dinuba. She asked me to call her when I arrived in the parking lot to start the registration process.
When I arrived 25 min later May tells me that due to them closing is a couple hours they wouldn’t be able to see him. I explained that I had just called and she apologized for her mistake but referred me to a vet hospital in Fresno. Very disappointed.

Wonderful the man who helped out my pit was so nice and literally carried her to the back because she’s scared. Other people would drag my dog by the leash. Love it here and will always choose this place over others.

Had to put dog down and they didn't give enough injection and dog cried too long while being put down to be considered humane in my opinion. Other than that the staff are nice and friendly.

They helped my dog during a terrible time and made sure she received the care she needed. They were compassionate and caring.

I am truly grateful for Tulare-Kings.

We were visiting from out of town, when Harmony stepped on a bee. She had immediate reaction causing her to vomit and poop.

Brought her directly over, and received excellent customer service from the front desk to the technician to the veterinarians.

The worst bedside manner I have ever experienced. The lack of compassion and care is visible. I have never had a dr not follow up or follow through when dealing with hospitalization until now. Better off driving out to Fresno.

Update: Despite the response, I will not be reaching out. I visited this facility once. I called multiple times thereafter for assistance but, not one person was understanding or helpful. I never received a call back as I was told or the information I needed. I was able to ask the second emergency hospital to request his records since TK never shared with our primary vet. After the experience I had I discovered all the other 1-star reviews. They all resonate with me and speak to the service this establishment consistently chooses to provide.

Was charged over $400 for a $40 anti-diarrheal for my kitten with a tummy flu. Total bill over $1000. Seemed excessive to me, but my exhaustion after a 3+ hour wait and desperation to save little Gary far exceeded my knowledge of pharmaceuticals, so I didn't question it. It wasn't until I called in about losing 3/4 of the bottle due to a problem with the packaging that the mistake was brought to light. I was immediately refunded and provided with a brand new bottle. I understand mistakes happen, and I would still recommend this place because the staff is good and my kitten is still alive. However, I'm not sure how frequent these mistakes happen, and I'm also not sure whether or not it would have been corrected had I not mentioned it to the staff.so please be cautious. Lesson learned - question everything!

I would have given a negative star but that isn't an option.
I posted before about the aweful experience with this establishment. After I left I took my dog to VCA Bakersfield and the differences I saw estounded me. First, Tulare-Kings Vet Services overcharges because they are the only emgergency vet (opened weekends) between Fresno and Bakersfield. TK Vet Services quoted me $2500 for my dog, all paid upfront before services provided. VCA Bakersfield quoted me $1200 for the same services and I was only required to pay 1/2 up front and the balance due when my dog was released from the hospital. When I picked my dog up from VCA the fianl bill was only $850. Also, VCA staff and dr's were compassionate, understanding and kind. I didn't receive the same treatment at Tulare-Kings Services. If you do not want to be taken advantage of go to the VCA in Bakersfield or if Fresno is closer go there; Visalia's emgergency vet overcharges.

Our 16 year old Mini Aussie (Sierra Doggy dog) had been on a steady decline, and we made the hard decision to bring her in on a Friday night. We called ahead and were taken straight back into a room, treated so tenderly by all of the staff & we had our old girl back home and back to the earth in under an hour.

So grateful to the entire staff for making such a hard situation a little easier.
