Tulsi Indian Eatery reviews
14Authentic taste. Food and great service, I would totally recommend this place if you’re looking for an all vegetarian restaurant & it has 4 different regions!
I ate there last night for dinner and I’m still full. The dosa I had was huge, and so good I couldn’t stop eating. At first we were a little disappointed that they don’t have any meat, but the amount of flavor made up for it and in the end we were completely satisfied. This is easily one of the best Indian places I’ve eaten in LA and I can’t wait to go back. I’m excited to have a vegetarianvegan restaurant I can go to with friends that don’t eat meat and not feel like I’m missing out.
Also, the staff is super friendly and very helpful.
Great service, delicious food, nice price. Lots of new and interesting variations on old favorites.
The excellent veg restaurant is filled with varieties and mouthwatering dishes. It's a promising restaurant, especially for Indian tourist who struggles with their taste. You can dine in with your family or you can take away. The restaurant opens at 11 am you can enjoy your brunch too.
Masala chai and filter coffee are also available, for chai coffee lovers.
The restaurant is entirely clean with a brighter ambience. The staff too are professional and friendly.
Good options for vegetarian Indian food. Food is on the less spicier side. Their South Indian options are good. Felt that the North Indian portions are small for the amount paid.
Amazing dosa. Filled me up and wasn’t greasy. A nice light feeling.
Have also tried the fusion items, and no complaints.
Look forward to my next visit!
Tulsi is delicious and has such an expansive menu that includes regional specialties and modern fusion-style dishes! We love coming here!
Great place to catch South Indian bite.good location but food you gotta watch not proper ly cooked otherwise plating portion everything looks great
Positive experience of Indian savories. Dosa, chutney, Chilly chicken (plant based), Lassi, South Indian Filter coffee were of great taste. Highly recommend for others.
The food is great and the prices are reasonable. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant and they do have many food options to eat.
Great place for Indian food with creative menu. Most of the food is tasty. We ordered a variety of food over 2 days, Bisibelibath, rasmalai rabdi and vegan taco were favorites, didn’t like chole and manchurian.
Taste was okay. But items were missing from take out order. Had to wait at counter for 10 minutes before somebody showed up.
Probably the best indian restaurant in dtla. Extremely polite staff, would recommend 10/10
It is definitely a hidden gem! Tried it out for the first time today and the food exceeded the expectations! Very authentic, delicious and fresh! The prices are unbelievably reasonable. In about 40 bucks got Uttapam, Pani Puri, Sprouts Katori Chaat, Pau Bhaji, Shrikhand, 2 Chai! Everything was ultimate, did not feel any heaviness after eating and the foods were presented like signature dishes! Kudos to the Tulsi team! Will definitely be back often! Glad! (:
