We ended a lease with Turnkey due to moving out of state. Property Management groups play a delicate role in servicing their owners and tenants. Nicole and her staff do an excellent job clearly communicating to both parties. They are prompt to respond to calls and give clear reasoning to their responses. They ship air filters out to their tenants for ease and send easy-to-follow reminders regarding property upkeep. This staff is well-versed in what they do and truly a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend this property management group to anyone looking to move to the Central Coast.

If you enjoy the pay your rent and shut up model, Turn-Key is for you. Repair requests I made for three water leaks and damage from gas leak were left unfinished and in two other cases, repairs were promised but then cancelled without notice. Turn-Key staff have poor communication and documentation skills which lead to staff accusing me of unauthorized self-repairs. I’ve observed the owner Nicole as being argumentative, dismissive, and arrogant with her staff and customers. Ironically she signs her emails “With Gratitude, Nicole” but is unwilling to demonstrate satisfactory customer service. If you’re a renter or homeowner looking for services, consider other options for legitimate property management. This company is a classic example of a business model driven by hubris; as long as they can keep up appearances and attempt to mitigate negative reviews, no one cares.

I would highly recommend Turn-Key Property Management. Over the years I have referred both friends and family. All have been extremely happy with the level of service they have received.

Worst experience with a property management company. I called them two days ago about applying to a property and explained my specific situation. The lady on the phone was respectful and explained that I had potential to rent the property if I met certain qualifications. I worked through submitting their application and when their website didn't work, the different lady I spoke to on the phone (I assume this is the owner) was rude, said that I would not even be accepted if I applied, and did not even address that the website does not work. These people are unorganized and unprofessional and I'm glad I avoided renting from them.

Mold growing in my apartment 5800 Traffic Way #10 in Atascadero. These people did not care even though I always pay rent on time. They sent someone out to check on it and their “professionals” did not notify me of the issues occurring. Terrible people, run from this place.renters and owners.

I have rented from Turn-Key for almost 4 years. Nicole is so sweet, kind and understanding. When I have a repair that needs to be done it is done ASAP. It is nice that myself and my daughter can rent from such a wonderful property management company. Dealing with Nicole has been wonderful.

Overall the company was ok. However they did a pretty spotty job of cleaning the place when we moved in and then charged us for extra cleaning when we moved out. Called probably every month, to no avail, during summer to tell them to get their landscaping in check. They tried to raise the price after a year until we reminded them that they had done ZERO to improve the property. The place was nice and affordable, for the area, but they could definitely work on some things. You’re welcome for the free automatic garage door we left you!

Nicole is very rude and she’s the owner.asked to speak with a manager when I discovered that. Will never do business here again.

The ladies here are ALWAYS kind, responsive and very helpful with all of our needs. During this difficult time turn key has gone above and beyond to make adjustments for their tenants to keep us all safe and maintain social distancing which we have loved and hope continues. We absolutely love both Nicole and Melani as well as the other office staff! They have been amazing and are extremely kind and professional. We sold our home and being barely adults when we bought we didn't have much experience in the rental world. These ladies have made the transition into renting so easy and have found us a great home while we wait to re-invest.
