Turner's Outdoorsman-Lake Forest

Called here I was very polite and nice some guy named Jim attempted to vent his worst day out on me all he did was lose business for his company. I'll go to the other Turners in San Diego just to avoid this guy. He was a smart alec from the beginning of our conversation I tried to be patient but didn't work I bet he does it to everyone I'm guessing. Vote with your dollar

I wanted to purchase fishing tackle and a shotgun for Dove season. According to the person at the front door she stated there is a 3 week waitlist for a appointment just to look for a shotgun. Plan B. I went to Saddleback guns and bought my shotgun and then bought my fishing gear at Hogans bait and tackle. Better service at both stores and I was able to walk in the store without a "bouncer" with attitude at the front door.

Really neat selection of items, had ammunition in stock so that was great plus. If you're looking to purchase a firearm you'll need an appointment, but not for ammo

There is a line out front with no update on how long the wait will be. I have been waiting 45 minutes with only one person in front of me just to buy fishing hooks. Come on Turner's. Figure out a better way.

I love the staff here. Everytime I go. I'm treated with nothing but absolute kindness. A dumb question doesn't exist to this staff. Every question is answered.

Turner's should learn to separate the people that are there to look around and the people that are ready to buy now standing in line for an hour after taking a number when I'm ready to buy a handgun now, meanwhile I got 10 looky-loos in front of me sucking up all the valuable time I have, it is so annoying to shop a retail store so Clueless, I’m buying my next firearm online and avoiding Turners poorly managed clusterF*ck going forward.

Nice store with a good selection. Expert staff. One word of caution. DON'T be in a hurry. One thing these folks don't do, is rush. I think I've watched paint dry faster.

Turners may be higher than online shopping but in the end pricing on firearms becomes less due to shipping, ffl, and time in general. Plus you get to put the gun into your hands

Nice place with good variety. Problem is apparently understaffed? Waiting around for 15+ mins for someone to help me, asked twice to be assisted but still nothing. Got to the point it wasn’t worth waiting anymore. Friendly for the most part but seems like customer service could use a little work or hire more people. Went from planning on spending a decent amount of money to buying a few things and leaving.

This Turner's was great, all of their locations seem to offer something slightly different but all the staples present. They must do something with their hiring process because all of their employees seem genuinely nice, and helpful.

Staffs are very professional and helpful. The wait to see and purchase a gun can be long and lengthy, the paperwork to purchase a gun is even longer and lengthy-er but the friendliness of staff members make up for the wait.

Their salesman are Impatient. They never have the product, when something goes on Sale. They just wanna get you in their store.

If you have every been to a gun store as a newbie, you are sure to be intimidated and worried that you will be oversold on every purchase by a sleazy sales associate. Not to worry here. Everyone here is very helpful and will not try to upsell you on their offerings. Over the years I have worked with everyone from the store manager to new employees and have not had one bad experience. Beware - there could be a long wait time in the queue if you get there during their busy hours. It's still my go to shop for most everything gun related and I will check here first before any other store.

Super nice crew in there, walked me through process of purchasing first firearm (s) and didn't make me feel like an idiot (even though I'm sure I asked a bunch of dumb questions)

This Turner's changed my mind about purchasing firearms at a Turner's. Other locations were rude about guns, sometimes to the point that I questioned their reasoning for even carrying firearms in store. This location has very patient and informative employees. Would come again for my firearm needs!

Staff are friendly and helpful. Price is good. I like this shop. But they don’t have accessories for sig sauer because they don’t selling it. But the shop is the best.

Staff are knowledgeable and helpful. Great selection. Nobody pressures you trying to make a sale. Great store for all your outdoor activity needs.
