Horrible service. I have been there 8 times to buy one gun. Each time I am there, its 1 hour minimum of waiting. I spent $289 and did not receive my gun. I was only given a $165 refund. Turners kept the other $124. Kent the manager thinks I should be happy thatI got any refund at all. Update: I called turners corporate office. They called the next day. They were unwilling to help me.

I've shopped at quite a few Turner's locations (West Covina, Lake Forest, Apple Valley, etc). When I go on road trips, which is semi-often, it kinda has become my "go-to" place when I'm driving random places.

I was driving to Tucson, so I figured I'd check out this location. THE BEST location I have been to! The staff were all super cool, the prices were good, and the inventory is really, REALLY impressive! Too bad I live in Orange County because I would go there all the time.

Super awesome place!

This business has taken a plunge down in every aspect possible. The people are arrogant and not very well informed.
The previous owners 2nd Amendment ran an orderly well stocked business and I have noticed a clear drop in clients my last 3 or 4 times as I left without making a purchase.

Went to ‘Turners Outdoors’ in Palm Desert earlier today to purchase some ammo for target practice. (After a marketing email)
Horrible experience!
Took a number, 48, they were helping 46 at the time, 8 guys working behind the gun/ammo counter. 40 minutes later, finally supposed to be my turn, caught one of the salesman helping a lady who was apparently a ‘regular’ with number 49 in her hand…my turn comes, they don’t have either of the types of ammo I came for!
(I called ahead to make sure that my stuff is in stock…2 times no answer, 2 times hung up on after ‘transfer to ammo dept”)

Managers didn’t care about lack of supplies or service.

Don’t come here.

I have purchased three firearms from 2nd Amendment Sports before they were bought by Turners. I recently walked in to take a look at what was in stock. The staff had the audacity to tell me that in order to look at a firearm I had to pay a $30 "Turners Membership" fee. That was just to look at a firearm outside of the display case! Eff that. I'll be taking my business elsewhere.

Staff are not friendly or welcoming at all. Every time I try to buy ammunition it’s at-least a 15-20 wait and they don’t even acknowledge you standing and waiting or try to call help. Ended up leaving today I’ll go somewhere else from now on. It was better as 2nd amendment.

Great service, knowledgeable and attentive even when you just call in for info. I will do business with them without a second thought!

Shooting range is membership only, No day use.
$29.99 for the year and $15 entry fee
Must use their ammo and targets!
Only worth it if you plan on 6 visits +
I have also purchased several firearms over the years and a few transfers.
The purchase process is always slow, a 2 hour experience not including wait time for your number to be called.
Turners was my go to shop but now its becoming over priced on top of slow.

Came to pick up my new rifle and i was told I was 7hr to early. I let them know the seller had told me my pick up day was yesterday and i decided to give it another day just in case. I come from over 2hr away. Now i have to make an extra trip because their employees do not give out the correct information.

Just had our first experience at the gun range. The staff were amazing very thoughtful and helpful teaching me and my family how to be careful and confident at the range. Many thanks to James and Paul

This was my go to spot when it was called Second Amendment; got to say this place got way worse over time. Ammo prices are ridiculous! You're telling me that 7.62x39 is 16.99-18.99? For a box of 20? Steel case? You're out of your mind if you think I'm paying for that, when I can just order online. Also, the process of buying a gun is already stressful as it is (in California) I don't really appreciate the sales associates taking their sweet time chopping it up with people that are: 1. Only Buying ammo, 2. Not buying a gun at all, 3. Legal consultation on what they can/can't buy, and other misc.laws that they brag about knowing, while they assume you don't know anything at all to begin with. Support businesses that actually serve the community, not some big corporation.

I use to go to this place when it was called Second Amendment. I bought a gun 2 weeks ago, I didn't have correct ID so I said I would go home and get it, the worker said I didn't need to I could bring it when I pick up in 10 days. When I went to pick up they said I had to wait another 10 days because I didn't do dros. Also the customer service was horrible people ignored me when I came in and they were not busy just standing around talking. I have bought 9 guns from here when it was 2nd amendment sports. So now I have to wait 24 days to get a gun that should take 10 days. Turners is not a good experience at all. Rude customer service, lies and just attitude. I gave 1 star because I couldn't give zero stars. I think I will go somewhere else to buy guns. I would not recommend this store to anyone

I have lived in this desert for over 40 years. Finally a place to shoot without the fear of someone shooting across the desert from where your shooting. People who know their job, and willing to share their knowledge. I feel I’m not only practicing my pistol skills, but getting better with the instruction given by those who are there to guide you.

I have purchased 3 guns at this store and my last experience there has convinced me I should never go there again. I wrote a less than stellar review on yelp regarding my experience. Unfortunately, I should've waited. It's like complaining about drive thru fast food.just don't do it until AFTER you get your food. When I got my new AR15 home, I learned that a spring was missing and the extractor was bad. When I called to notify turners the girl told me I could bring my brand new AR back and it would be 3-6 months before I could expect it back. Really? I took it to my own gunsmith. Who fixed it immediately. Turners is not going to give you a personal or customized experience. It's like a puppy mill but for guns. I will never go to this store again. It's not worth the few dollars you may save. Just a really awful experience. I do not recommend.

Talk about price gouging. If you’re looking to purchase a firearm your best bet would be to go somewhere else. You will almost certainly pay a $100 to a few hundred less for the same firearm. Save your money and throw it towards some ammo.

I purchased a Smith and Wesson 9 mm and picked it up on August 19th I thought they were very friendly and help me immensely I'm not sure if I really got a good deal or not but dealer Matt but I'm going to try and get a better deal later since the pandemic was discovered and guns are short anyway I can't remember the name of the people that help me but I was satisfied so far
