I gotta say not all of turners staff is resourceful but with that said, LORI who works in the tackle section knows her stuff and she is seriously on the mark with her knowledge. I was going out on my first bluefin trip and was looking for a setup that qas price efficient but not to cheap and Lori set me up with a rig and at first I doubted her knowledge but in the end I landed a 180lb bluefin on 50lb braid, thanks Lori and turners for that possible once in a lifetime experience

Nice place, a little too serious, but when you're selling "instantaneous murder devices" I guess there's no fooling around.

They were very helpful I even went back a few times and they helped me out with what I needed simple fast and understanding to my financial predicament.so to all the employees you all are awesome

Great place to get your gears. For fishing and also they sell guns too. They check your background too.

Wish they had more ammo, and at pre Biden election! But its the same prices as big 5, knowledgeable and friendly people work there!

Just bought the Accurate Valiant 600 2 speed on sale I'm stoked. Turners has a 35 % off sale ending today I had no idea lol. I stopped in to pick up 4&6 on weights for a day a half trip at the end of the month and walked out with the Accurate Valiant 600 2 speed reel they spooled it for free.it's a good day.now off to drink some margaritas lol.

Great place with plenty of good help. The staff are great at educating anyone who has questions. Very helpful.

The place was busy but customer service was great. There was a line outside but thats how it is in the new covid 19 world we live in.

Was standing outside for 45 minutes and just got to the door were I was told they weren't letting anyone else in after 5pm without an appointment. Two other people in front of me were there for over an hour

Good selection for fishing needs. The prices seem reasonable, not over-priced. There always seems to be something on sale when I go and I always seem to end up leaving there with at least one item that i wasn't looking for but found a "need" for. I have yet to visit the guns and ammo side but one can't help but notice the huge selection. The customer service there is always friendly and helpful.

By far the worst place to go if you want service. 10 people allowed in but yet it still takes a half hour to get anyone to talk to you.

To the store named Turner's Outdoorsman in San Marcos, if you were a horse you would be lame enough for the for factory.

Waited over an hour in an outside line to get in and at 4: 15 was told that aren't letting anyone in after 5. I told him it was 4: 15 and he directed himself to 4 despite the sign on the door his hand was on. I came next day to check times, she also said 5. I informed her of her dishonest coworker and she offered a flaccid excuse.
2 for 2 lieing employees.other negative reviews are building up.

Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful as well as being about the most competitively priced for range amo.

Good selection of hunting and sporting equipment. It can get really really busy in the gun section so prepare for a wait.

Didn't need any help as I knew what I was looking for. But it's great that they will check on you for questions. Turner's is awesome

Purchased a 50 dollar knife, but was told there is no restroom for the public even when I expressed urgency. Customer service not present.

Awwwww I soooo love this store! All staff are courteous, helpful and knowledgeable! Very professional place and such a great selection of tackle and poles and other fishing and hunting gear! Super great store!

A bit disappointed in that I'm looking for a rifle model with a 2" longer barrel that what that they had on their website (for $859) and they wanted almost $600 for the model I'm looking for. Not a " let me check with manager or distributor" but quoting out of the retail catalog because it was a special order. Really?

Good spot for all your outdoor needs. They have pretty good deals on firearms and there staff is helpful.
