Two Trees Restaurant and Taps, Ventura CA

Me and my in laws are locals and have been coming to two trees for years now. The service has gone down hill over the past 2-3 years. I used to enjoy taking my out of town folks here, but the service is just bad now, the bussers, folks at the bar, long time servers, and hosts are great, but when it comes to the newer servers I’ve gotten recently like a guy named Adan, they were just not friendly and unwelcoming. I asked if he spoke Spanish for my party who needed a quick question on the menu, he said “ya” then completely ignored the others at our table and seemed annoyed we were even there. Didn’t check on us for the time we were there other than to dump our food on the table and be dry when we asked for a water. For an $80+ visit, I’d expect at least a smile or something that show us we’re welcomed.
We’ve all worked restaurant/retail jobs and know some customers aren’t friendly, but we’re always nice to those at Two Trees and it’s sad they started to treat regulars like this, my in laws who spend at least $125+ a visit included. It’s a shame and I wouldn’t recommend it anymore sadly.

Had a great breakfast of crab cakes Benedict. To drink was a yummy peanut butter stout from Belching Beaver Brewery.
Nice clean restaurant setting and a wonderful staff.

Great place to grab a bite. Very friendly, fast service. My friend lives in the area and we always go here when I visit. It's usually busy but if you go in during slightly off hours we always get a seat without a wait.

Service sucks.ordered 2 salads to go.waited 30 mins. Nothing.asked young lady red head that I spoke with when I arrived about my order and she walked away and laughted.then took another 15 mins to give me 2 SALADS. NEVER AGAI.

I didn't care for the food. Had French toast and a Jeffe tacos. The beef had a lot of gristle I had to keep picking out of my mouth. My friend loved his eggs Benedict.

Went with a party of four and waited 15min for a table. Half the table got burgers and the other half breakfast. The classic and turkey burgers were hits with brioche buns! I got the chicken and waffles which were outstanding. And the fourth dish was the monkey pancakes, which were divine for the sweet tooth in the group (I had to steal a bite). This place is such a gem!

Breakfast was delicious! Outdoor dining was available which was great with our furbaby. They were very accommodating, wait staff was friendly. French toast was amazing, the pancakes tasty and fluffy. We will be back to try other menu items.

The staff is pleasant and for the first time in a while I got to sit inside on a Sunday and had a perfect view, got to watch the game facing the TV dead center

The burgers my roommate and I got were not seasoned well. Plus the coleslaw was sweet. Everything looked good, but was really disappointed with how it tasted.

If you asked before last meal it would have been 5 stars. So far everything I have had has been 5 stars and the service has been 5 stars highly recommend this place. Why for the missing star? Because of the STEAK, meat wasn't the best quality for the price and the rice was awful when it said rice pilaf I was expecting a nice mixed grain rice for the price. But instead it came with a bland white rice " didn't complement the steak at all" then the potatoes tasted like boxed potatoes. What's going on here everything else is so excellent. Then this, I'm confused. Lol

Fish & chips & coleslaw were amazing. Excellent service & the lady who took care of me (I'm so sorry I don't know her name) was so friendly & nice
