All good reviews are made up by friends and family of employees. Just look at all the 1 star reviews. Heavy drug addicts. Self righteous and angry managers, daughter/employee and other employees pick and choose who to provide decent service too. Regularly smoking pot and doing in drugs on the job. Not before or after, but during. Slow… so slow. They hope you’ll go somewhere else. Employees constantly complained about u-Haul corporate the whole time. I’m just trying to rent and leave in the damaged truck they provided. And the smell at this place is terrible.

Read all the one star reviews that aren’t like the 4 star reviews from friends and family of the employees there. This is a one star facility. I don’t think u-Haul corporate knows what’s going on there, but they will soon.

Rudeness, unprofessional, poorly managed are among the dominant features of this U-Haul location. From top down, this location is staffed with the worst. Their trucks are dirty and poorly maintained. This means you would not get a safe, pleasant, or smooth moving experience. The manager here doesn't care to listen. He just ignores complaints. Even if you'd have to pay more going with different companies, do it! It's not worth using U-Haul, especially this store. They care more about selling you stuff you don't need than providing you with professional and good service.

This is the 1st time I've ever been treated horribly at Merced Uhaul and also the 1st time ever dealing with this employee named ROBERTO! When I arrived this morning I parked in the only handicap spot as I'm disabled and as I was walking in the door with my son, ROBERTO rudely whistled and yelled at me so I stepped back out to see what was going on and he told me to move my car. I explained that I'm disabled and pointed to my plates. He still made me move. Then he walked in and had to be the one to help us. He obviously was very lazy and wanted me to download the app to make my own appointment so that he didn't have to do the work. I almost walked out without getting the Uhaul. He needs to be FIRED!

Very bad customer service. The manager himself set the tone of the store. And it's a tone of business going down hill. The store is filthy and the employees don't care about their jobs. That translates into dirty trucks, poor maintenance that could result in safety issues, erroneous billings, and irresponsible management. It's not worth it even they have lower price here. Rent from other companies instead. Avoid this place to save your from bad headache.

They really don’t know what ther doing. Didn’t put pin in right. Caused damage to my truck becareful Make sure u know how to install I could’ve cause a life And it wasn’t nothing to them

The service was excellent!
Especially considering how the customer to service tech ratio was 1 for every 2 to 6 people. We were signed in, checked out, and on our way likity-split. At Both Ends!
