Tl;dr Adam correctly diagnosed a charging problem of an iPad and fixed it without charging me.

My 7-year-old son's iPad broke on his birthday. Apple store at Americana wanted $249 to replace the charging port. A local repair shop wanted $149 to replace the charging port (board level repair: which is correct). I called uBreakiFix in Glendale to get a quote. I was told to come in and let them see the device. When I arrived, Adam inspected the device and assessed that a metallic object had lodged inside the port. He quickly removed it and did not charge me. My son is going to have a great birthday. Don't know where to start honestly. I had experienced a dead pixel on my phone and came in with warranty to get my phone's screen swapped. Little did I know I was going to leave with my phone in worse shape than ever.

First issue, I picked up my phone after "repair" and noticed dust in the camera lens.a LOT of dust. I told the worker up front and he said it looks fine unless I have OCD about it. What? That's not how I paid for my phone and definitely not how it should be especially since my camera quality won't be top shape.

Second issue, I went home to swap my SIM card back from my second phone into the phone and saw my Micro SD card not in my Note as I had given it to them. Yeah, my fault leaving it in there but I would expect it back inside after the repair. Had to make another trip the day after and pick it up once again, whatever.

Third and hopefully final issue, I was inspecting my phone today since I use it caseless and noticed quite a lot of dust accumulating along the sides. Little did I notice that the frame is separated from the back glass and wasn't glued properly so dust is settling in there and catching onto the ridges.

I am definitely never coming back here again. Very unprofessional work. Maybe it's because they had to do it for free for warranty purposes. Time to wait 20 days until the Samsung store can fix the mess for me!

Like most big tech repair services, they don't know what they are talking about. Waited 40 minutes to be told my screen couldn't be replaced because of a "board issue". Ita a brand new phone. It doesn't have a board issue. You just don't know what you're doing. 2 stars because the lady helping me out up from was nice. 1 star for whoever was in the back pretending to know how to repair phones.

Located in downtown Glendale had to parked in the back of Porto's, so you need credit card or quarters to pay for parking, they can fix your smart phone while you wait if they have the part

The company is ok, but this location in Glendale very not accommodating. The one who helped me said because it passed the check they cant repair my phone although I complained about the problem and he saw that there a problem too on the charging port. I took it to another location they did the same procedure and fixed my phone.

OK STAFF, HORRIBLE JOB ON my Ps4 THEY BROKE IT MORE THEN THEY DID ANYTHING, THEN BLAMED IT ON ME! Thanks to Dr. Geeksters my ps4 was fixed perfectly for a portion of the price

Super service! My phone wouldn't charge, so I took it in. The technician checked the phone and found that the contacts just needed to be cleaned. He took it to the back and got it cleaned up, no charge. This is the second time I've been to uBreakiFix and definitely will be back.

Sean is proffesional magician. He fixed my sisters iphone which according to apple and other 3rd party companies was not possible to fix whithout restoring. We didnt want to lose the data so we decided to try our last shot.

He called in 1 hour or so telling that evrything works and all the data is there.

You shouldve seen how happy my sister was.

I recomend this shop and Sean in particular as one of the best phone repair shops.

True proffecionals! They fixed mt laptop in less than 5 hours! They don't charge for diagnostics and for cleaning if there is a need to clean to see whether they can fix it or not (in my case it was a liquid damage). I dropped the laptop off at 12 and could pick it up a couple of hours later! Great guys! Thanks again!

Julio is the man! He's an iphone wizard and his customer service skills are second to none. I really recommend taking any issues you have with your phone to these guys.

Especially because of how unwilling to help, apple has become.

Brought in new Samsung that had been dropped in water. It had been working except the screen wasn't quite right. After 6 days, they returned it not working at all.no charge saying that the motherboard was damaged. How can I be sure that they did not scam parts and return the phone worse than it was to start with?

These guys did excellent work on my galaxy s4 in record time and even helped me figure out unrelated issues the phone had after picking it up. Great, honest and knowledgeable team. Trust them with your phones!
