Did repairs OK previously, but most recently did not honor its written policy to match competitor quotes. I went elsewhere instead.

Good repair, but you can't trust them to be open during open hours. They close for breaks, meaning a wasted trip or just sitting around waiting

They don’t have any parts in this location. They just waste your time. The guy could told me from the beginning they don’t have the parts, instead wasted half an hour of my time and then sent us to Fremont location. Terrible customer service

Expect to wait outside for a while. The reason the line takes a while is because they get alot of upset customers. Went to get the back cover of the note 20 ultra fixed. Got the job done in two hours, however the experienced a software issue and needed to call samsung. They fixed that issue as well. 50/50 shot with this place. Overall ok experience.

Didn't have a system for registering my repair, didn't fix my phone, didn't open at opening time when i needed to pick up the phone.overall a very amateur-ish establishment - (employees are nice and friendly, the problem must lie with management)

Worst service I've had anywhere. This place gives worse service than the government, and I've spent hours on the phone trying to get through to the edd. That frustration is nothing compared to dealing with ubreakifix Cupertino. At least at the end of an edd call, I know something is happening with my account.

4.26.21: I brought my chromebook device in Monday because asurion told me to bring it to a ubreakifix store, and If they couldn't determine the issue or fix it, they would ship it out overnight asap to asurion. Asurion processing took so long (3+ weeks, multiple model number submissions and I had to threaten with a bbb complaint and fraudulent charge complaints) I had already brought the device to be checked here, and they knew they couldn't fix it so they said they would ship it out.

Excuse here and there and ubreakifix said the printer is suddenly broken. They said it'll get fixed and they'll print it another way and ship it out that evening/the next day

4.29.21: Thursday I call ubreakifix Cupertino because I find out I have a balance they are charging me (for what!? My insurance claim told me to bring it here for them to SHIP, not to do anything else with) I find out they haven't shipped my device and it had just been sitting in the store all week waiting for nothing. The employee on the phone seemed extremely apologetic (which they should be, it's not my phone it didn't get shipped it is completely theirs) and says he'll print out the label tonight and ship it out tomorrow, and inform me when it happens (I had to ask him to let me know because it seemed like he wouldn't) I am so furious at their lack of accountability as they are costing me time and money.

4.30.21: Friday I call in at 4pm because I got no sort of notification whatsoever. Again, the employee seems extremely apologetic explaining to me that their printer just broke (the same thing a separate employee told me Monday, so they are lying, or they are holding my property while I am getting charged insurance premiums) and that he printed it the day before but just hasn't shipped it yet. If it's 4pm, when the heck do you plan on shipping my device.

I could have shipped this and had it to asurion by Tuesday.

If I don't get any sort of update by today, I will be forced to file formal complaints against this location, as they charged me for service, are holding my personal property, and costing me monthly insurance premiums.

Dropped off a Pixel 3a to have a broken screen replaced. Picked it up the next day and it's like new. Excellent job; would recommend.

I will not take anything to uBreakiFix again. I experienced incompetence on several levels: failure to repair (for 5 months!), lack of followup, and lost shipments.

It took uBreakiFix 5 months to fix my son's broken iPad charging port. I probably spent 30 hours calling for updates. In the end (like in the final week), my experience improved when the manager, Syed, got involved. He ordered a replacement when they gave up fixing it, waived the repair/replacement fee, and followed up with me over email. Overall, the experience was an unbelievable comedy of errors.

Here is the full timeline of my repair:

Sept 24,2020 - Dropped off iPad at uBreakiFix Cupertino.
Oct 19,2020 - Repair in progress; iPad disassembled; waiting for technician.
Oct 22,2020 - Finished soldering; charging port is defective; ordered new port.
Oct 20,2020 - Part not arrived.
Nov 2,2020 - Expects the port soon.
Nov 4,2020 - Expects the port soon.
Nov 18,2020 - Installed new port but lost screws; ordered new screws.
Dec 1,2020 - Screws arrived, expect to be done Dec 2.
Dec 4,2020 - Technician sick; try again tomorrow.
Dec 8,2020 - Doesn’t know when someone qualified to fix it; think all parts arrived.
Dec 10.2020 - Port there; can fix it once they find the iPad and screws.
Dec 15,2020 - iPad in front of tech, ready for repair.
Dec 16,2020 - Technician is OOO; if they can’t fix it, will order new 128GB iPad for us.
Jan 8,2021 - Ordered a replacement iPad.
Jan 22,2021 - Said iPad should have arrived by now.
Jan 28,2021 - iPad delivered but can’t find it; need to get approval to order another one.
Jan 29,2021 - Manager supposedly ordered a new iPad.
Feb 8,2021 - Called and spoke with J (new hire/transfer), who called manager S, who said he ordered the iPad and it should arrive in a week or so. J will see if he can get me an estimated date of delivery.
Feb 12,2021 - Spoke with J2. He said he’ll call S or J3, his managers, to get tracking information.
Feb 12,2021 - Called Cupertino uBreakiFix again and spoke with J. He said to call Fremont. Called Fremont, spoke with F, who corrected the email address for S. I mailed S.
Feb 12 - J called back and said the iPad will arrive Feb 19.
Feb 21 - Emailed S about the iPad, and S responded with a tracking number.
Feb 24 - Tracking number says Fedex delivered the iPad to Ubreakifix Cupertino. Called and spoke with S2. S2 said he’d call me back after asking S whether he needs to do anything with the iPad before giving it to me. S2 called back to say I can pick up the iPad.
Feb 27 - Waited 30 minutes to pick up iPad from A.

Very pleased with Bennett taking the time to restore my apps on my smart phone. He was patient, knowledgeable and friendly. I'd strongly recommend this place if you need help with your electronics.

SLOW AS HELL! Be ready to wait a lot in line outside and also make sure to not trust their estimates for when your repair will be done. You might be in for a long long wait.

Got my screen replaced on my Pixel 4A. First one had some issues, but they were able to replace it next day. Much more convenient than shipping it off.

JC was pleasant and made my time at this location easy. He had really exceptional customer service skills and they fixed my employee's cracked screen in under 2hrs. This location is small, so there is a limit of two customers in the store due to the current covid restrictions.
I've been to another uBreakiFix location in the past and had a really horrible experience where I had to chase down when my device would be ready for several days, but here, I received a text message letting me know when my device was ready for pick up which was really helpful.

I was able to get my phone in for a screen repair in about an hour after calling, and they had it finished before they closed the same day. It was a bad day and I was pretty frazzled, but the young man at the desk was extremely pleasant and helpful. Overall a very good experience.

Nice and clean place, friendly people there, sincere suggestions for my computer problems even though they couldn't fix it in the end. But there is no charge for all the time spent, so really not much to complain. Would definitely go there for needs in the future.
