The ear molding, listening to different products, and service was outstanding. While Michael isn’t a rock star (yet) and I’ll never be, we were treated as ones.

With the covid-19 pandemic, it took me a lot of work to find an UE place where they could scan my ears and have the mold, I did not want to use the fit kit that the UE is promoting so much, if I was going to spend so much money for an accessory like this I wanted all the experience and I can tell you that the experience was wonderful, UE support referred me to Joe and I had to wait 3 months to take advantage of a trip to Las Vegas, to go down to Los Angeles and go to UE LA, originally I was going to buy The UE 18+ pro, but joe asked me, have you tried the UE live? After trying them I realized that the UE live was like having a mini-concert in your ears, we checked the price difference, I ended up buying the UE live, a 15-minute session turned into a 1-hour session.

I ain't musician by no mean, I am just a music enthusiastic.

Jami and Joe are phenomenal at their job and exceeded all my expectations. While there I got to try different IEMs. Joe was extremely knowledgeable on the range of products offered and made it seamless to choose what was best for me. Jami made the in ear mold experience a breeze. Extremely satisfied with the product and experience.

Paid the shop a visit after looking at CIEM these on-line. For the cost I was looking for a more hands on experience. Called up, booked an appointment as required due to pandemic. Joe was very quick to book me and when he didn't receive my email (had gone to junk) he called to make sure I still wanted to stop by. Once at the appointment he could not have been more informative. Never tried to up-sell or push a product other than the right product for my application. His performing background made him suggest the right model from the start. He was extremely professional during the scan and informative through the process. Once he set me up to try any model I wanted, I could confirm personally that his suggestion was indeed the best one. I've yet to receive my IEM, on the way with a rather quick turn around, but up to this point the service has been top notch. Other band members have stopped by as well and would recommend you get your scans and make your purchase here. Extremely patient as I went back and forth on the different models to absorb each one's difference. Patient with a smile!

What a great Experience! Thank you Joe for your attention, professionalism and help. I was able to scan my earls, to check the all avail able headphones models and sounds and choose which ones exactly I prefer. Also to see all the color variations and pick the color I like. In about 10 days my custom made ultimate ears arrived! Very excited.very quiet and comfortable office/store with all the options you need.

Ultimate Ears are the best! Add to that the awesome customer service that you receive from Joe and his team for a totally wonderful customer experience. I have owned a few pairs over the years and I couldn't be happier using them as a performing musician or just listening to music.

Completely opposite experience. Emailed UE on a Sunday night, they scheduled an audiologist Monday morning thinking the "usual salesman" would not be there. Unknown to either of them, Joe Lester, who is the point man for UE, was there. I was hoping to just do the digital scan, but as it turned out I have "surfer's ear" on both sides and had to have the goo instead, which is why it was a really good thing they had scheduled an audiologist to do my fitting-apparently the scan isn't as good for people with that condition. The goo really isn't a big deal, and it only takes a few minutes. After the molds were made, Joe placed my order (I had already decided on UE11s), answered all my questions, and made sure I was good to go. Joe seems to be a standup guy, go see him if you need molds. Can't wait for mine to arrive.

EDIT: the person working at the office reached out to explain why I was ignored, which I had not thought about when writing this review. He actually sent a thoughtful, professional and honest message which I appreciated. Unfortunately I won’t have time now to get the pair I originally planned, but it was helpful to understand the other side.

I came here while in production rehearsals at 3E to try to skip the online process and get scans made for custom in ears. I walked in almost directly after another person who was discussing their appointment with the employee on site when I walked in.

I was hoping to look at the products, schedule a scan, maybe purchase on site. However, neither of the people there (the person that walked in before me nor the employee) acknowledged my existence whatsover in the several minutes that I was standing with them in the very small room.
They continued to talk about scheduling for minutes while I browsed at some of the IEMs they had on display, and then I stood within feet of them, facing both of them for several minutes waiting to be acknowledged. Nothing. I felt uncomfortable interrupting their pow wow. I turned and walked out. Will not be buying UE from here on out.
