Great vibe for working/studying! I got a butterfly effect, and it was a really lovely drink.

This coffee shop is small and it is not in a busy strip mall. They have vegan options in their menu. Great place for studying, or for a quick snack.

Super adorable place w/ incredible food & coffee. The star off this time is just bc I ended up getting my food over 45 minutes later than anticipated: (Part of it wasn’t their fault at all bc of a notification error from the app I ordered through but I wish they’d have given me a heads-up it’d take a while instead of telling me it’d be “right out” in just a couple minutes & I would’ve eaten a snack or something in the meantime bc I get hunger shakes & a lot of anxiety when I don’t eat for too long </3

Overall though I would definitely recommend this place! I don’t blame them for it at all it was just a bummer & they were otherwise very very polite. Cutest vibe you’ll ever see in a coffee place, & their food is worth every penny. The latte art is absolutely gorgeous. Their drinks are out of my usual comfort zone but so, so good. I recommend the gold-n-hill, it’s literally a whole experience & I’ll definitely be back for it as often as I can afford to lol

I was excited to try this place since someone posted it on a vegan pg and was pumped on the sandwiches (got the BLT as posted), but was sadly disappointed. It was on the dry side and lacked a good pt of the greens (the thin layer you see was all there was), and tbh was on the skimpy side for a 10$ sandwich. If you're gonna charge that amount at least make it heafty enough so that I'm not hungry an hr later.
I thought maybe it was the sandwich itself and was gonna give it another try, but looking at the other pictures on here.seems I might've gotten the 'bigger' one they offer. I can't imagine paying up to 14$ for a flattened sandwich that looks like I could make a better one at home.: (
The drinks looked good, but for 3/4 the price of what the sandwich was, I had to skip it. (I'm not a Starbucks fan, so maybe if you're used to $8.50? Drinks then you'll have no issue.)
The muffins/pastries looked amazing as well and considered getting one, but a fly was chilling on the bottom level on the food and I just couldn't. I know some things are uncontrollable, but still.

Also a recommendation for being a bit more earth friendly (vibe I got being there), maybe pack your to-go sandwiches in a paper bag. The huge plastic shell for just a small sandwich was a bit unnecessary. If I had known I would've just asked to have it 'to eat there' and wrapped napkins on it. Just a cost effective tip as well

Great Coffee and the staff has been extraordinarily friendly and down to earth. It’s my new favorite place.

The perfect place to chill and enjoy some delicious coffee and food! Love that they support small businesses too.

I enjoy the summit fever, forager, and the simple caramel latte every now and then. I really also like the Cosmic Daydream, the dirty Chai, and now the vegan Vietnamese. You really can't go wrong with any drink!

If I'm going to treat myself to an expensive coffee, let it be here.

Their menu is definitely unique and caters to people who enjoy non-dairy milks and are into health foods. I ordered a "Day-tripper" which was an unfamiliar delight to my palate. Coconutty, rich, not very sweet (I added two packets of C&H). I recommend it.

The atmosphere is friendly and welcoming, I felt like I could make polite conversation with anyone - patrons and employees. The also have cute small-business trinkets: earrings, stickers, lighters, etc. Very hippie! There is also plenty of parking.

I look forward to trying their other drinks.

Great service. I recently went in and asked for a drink that had a few custom alterations to it. The barista knew the formula so well that she made it original really quickly. Instead of having me pay for that one, without prompting they remade the drink, no questions asked and served it with a smile. Great place and good drink.

I stopped by Ultreya the other day because I was at the bank on the same plaza and got hungry. I was impressed with how many vegan options they had, with a whole menu of vegan sandwiches. I got the hash and cheese sandwich and it was so good that I came back again today for the same thing. Very affordable prices, great atmosphere, and delicious food!

Service here is decent, really cute merchandise though and beautifully decorated.coffee isn’t the best but glad i got to try it out:)

I moved to San Diego a few months after Ultreya opened and it has been one of my favorite spots! Their toasts are incredible and since I’m not a coffee person, I love all of their fun options for alternative drinks! A fun store with a wonderful environment and very sweet staff!

Day Tripper is a family favorite-so good! Ultreya’s food is also fresh & delicious. The staff is always welcoming and friendly, the cafe clean and the service prompt. A true gem in the College Area.

Cool place, friendly people, and awesome how they don’t charge for alternative milks! Try the iced macadamia milk latte! Nice food options that I’ll have to try next time.

I really feel like the vibe here matches their coffee. I enjoy my latte and is conveniently located close to SDSU. It really gives a small, local feel and sells fun/random local products. You never know what you will find.
