Umpqua Bank reviews
6Stock investors are more important than bank customers. When I wanted to transfer a loan to my mortgage payment they said no, it won't be good for their investors. I have had a mortgage for 20 years with this bank and never a late payment. "World's Great Bank" is such a conceited motto. And their phone system is useless. Last time I called they said it would be a 58 minute wait.
Bank hours randomly fluctuate and neither website nor recording nor overall customer service reflect actual business hours. Phone calls are unanswered and messages not returned.
This place NEVER answers the phone. Ever. They will also tell you they will call you with info about your auto title but they never do. Typical Californian bankers in humboldt time
These people are truly amazing. I had moved from Eureka, California to Oregon and a piece of mail got returned to the Eureka Branch. Megan Davila made a very special effort to find me & call me to tell me about the piece of mail. After finding me she mailed it to my Oregon address.
How many people do that? Nobody. I have always been impressed by the very personal service and attention to detail that these professional people have given to me over the 21 years that I have been with Umpqua.
But the follow up and attention to me and my account is amazing. Umpqua Bank sets the standard for courtesy, attention to detail and professionalism. I am very fortunate to have Megan Davila and Umpqua
Bank looking out for my best interests. Thanks Sandra
We love the friendly and helpful folks at this bank and the coffee! Cookies on Friday are a nice touch too.
They will not allow me to open an account because my mailing address is a PO box, due to living off grid in Petrolia. Despite having a reliable and healthy income, a strong credit score, and having held my last bank account for 26 years.
It's funny that banks will deny people on a technicality such as this, and it feels quite discriminatory.
