14Incredible message and experience! The host was very kind and the decor/menu is very intentional. <3
This food was so authentic and nourishing! Truly felt like a home cooked meal and the energy of the staff and owner was so welcoming! I have not had pózole in so long since I went plant based 3 years ago and this pozole was out of this world. 12/10. Not mention they use clean non gmo corn to prepare the handmade pupusas and pozole!
A long time East L. A.restaurant owned by a kind gentleman serving customizable healthy versions of international cuisines. Love the view of the downtown skyline from the sidewalk and free live concerts from across the street - Mariachi Plaza Metro subway station. Love the paintings which sums up nicely what this place is about.
Great restaurant to eat at in East LA. Food is fresh and delicious, and the owner is wonderful. I highly recommend the homemade guacamole.
This was all around a great dining experience. The food was much better, healthier, and affordable than the trendier vegan restaurants. The owner Carlos clearly puts a lot of care into the food and is passionate about creating a healthier society. There are no processed foods on the menu and food was delicious.
Visited for the first time. Food is delicious with a lovely presentation. They seem genuinely passionate about serving high quality, tasty, and healthy food. Will come back for sure!
Love, love, love this establishment. Everything I’ve had is delicious! My go-to is the pupusas and jamaica
This place is an absolute gem. Some of the freshest food you can get in la. Made with so much love, intention and with attention to detail.beautiful array of flavors that left me feeling full and satisfied but lifted light and free. Such healing food and generous portions. So grateful to find this spot
Had the veggie enchiladas verdes. My favorite! Love this place. Always leave feeling full, nourished, and happy. I dined in but called ahead of time and placed my order by phone. Carlos was super accommodating.
Un Solo Sol 'is Ultimately my favorite restaurant for so many reasons I truly enjoy the pupusas and all of the soups they offer. Actually, the whole menu is delicious! I enjoy the peaceful environment, to the amazing service Mr. Carlos and the amazing Cook, Maria always provide You can definitely sense and taste the love poured into every single meal. Thank you infinitely, we appreciate and Value you
Hidden vegan Gem in L. A! Portions are small but very full filling. The owner is very gracious and the service provided was wonderful! The al pastor bowl was a major hit as well as the pupusas. Will be coming back!
Great food and really nice people! Will definitely be back to try more of the big menu. The enchiladas were amazing and you can’t go wrong with fresh guanabana!
Every once in a while, you come across a restaurant that reminds you of why food is so important. Un Solo Sol is an absolute hidden gem that serves a variety of dishes that nourish your soul and also teach a unique perspective on history.
The mishmash of dishes ranging from South American to Indian may confuse you at first, but know that the flavors will be delicious! Items we recommend: the green pozole that’s so comforting, pupusa platter with herbaceous chipilin (heartier spinach) and beans, and the Indian kachumber salad with perfectly spiced tofu.
End on a sweet note with the kheer almond milk rice porridge and don’t forget to try the hibiscus drink! Carlos, the owner, was lovely to speak with.
Un Solo Sol is a very special place. The owner, Carlos, has a vision of a better world where humans respect the earth and share her gifts of love. We had taquitos, pupusas, pozole, and avocado toast. Everything was delicious, fresh, unprocessed, and perfectly seasoned. The pozole was the best vegan pozole I’ve ever tasted, and I tried several in Mexico City. If you’re ever in LA don’t miss the blessings of Un Solo Sol.
