Unique Cuts, Redding CA

Dont bother if going in the evening. I had an appointment for 5: 30. Waited in the lobby while 2 people were seen before me, the woman doing the cuts gave her friends/family priority over the customer who had an appoitment. There is also a huge pitbull that runs loose around the place and the lady can take up to 8 minuets (thats how long it took when we were waiting) to deal with the animal. I used to go here all the time, now I have to find a new place because the unprofessional work environment going on. What a huge bummer.

My son is on the spectrum and this is the only haircut place that I’ve ever been able to bring him to where he does not lash out violently or scream. They are brilliant at calming him down and getting his haircut to fit what he needs, and what mama thinks looks good, I highly recommend this place they are wonderful

Took my oldest son here since his first haircut and on. Great looking cuts. My second son was born five years later with sensory issues, and they were so gentle and put away the clippers that scared him to death and did a wonderful job with scissors only. I wish we lived closer, we'd go to Unique Cuts more often.

I am so pleasantly surprised to have discovered this place. I tend to struggle with the communication side of haircuts but the whole experience was incredible, the qaulity of the haircut was extremly high, and honestly I dont think I would go anywhere else in Redding having lived here for 20+ years.

My son is autistic and we had been turned away from about 5 other places due to my son not being able to keep still. Finally found this place back in August. The gentleman who works there (I forget his name) is absolutely WONDERFUL! Took my son back again today for his haircut for picture day and let me tell you, he REALLY took his time with my son and made sure it was how I wanted it as well! I am SO INCREDIBLY PLEASED! 10/10! The environment makes my son feel peaceful and the gentleman's kindness and patience makes him feel comfortable and calm. Will always come back!

My family went over there on 11 am very dirty place, hair everywhere, hair on waiting chairs.and no service no says hi nothing (just 1 customer only)

I went in with my boys. The worker asked us how many cuts. Said he would be right with us, and had us waiting believing we were next up after a customer, another customer walks in after 20 min he says this is my 4 o'clock appt I will be with you after? He had us waiting just in case his 4 didn't show. I thought that was very dishonest and unprofessional. He did not know what we had going on. Our time is important too? Just be honest! Is that hard?

Awesome experience, we showed him the haircut we wanted and he did his magic to fix a bad haircut and transformed it into a very stylish, clean cut.

Sunday is such a sweetheart. She’s always taken care of mine and my moms hair, and I recommend her to anyone that is trying to find a hair place. Definitely takes better care of the place and her people (workers and customers) than owners before.

Made an appointment for my 2 year old to get a haircut here on a Sunday morning. I explained that he has not done well with getting haircuts in the past, and was reassured they are great with kids.they were not lying! I wish I remembered the gentleman's name that cut my son's hair. He made it fun for my son, was patient, and took the time to make sure the cut looked good/was even. My son was so content, I couldn't believe it. Because of this experience, I will continue to come back from out of town, and pay the price (a little expensive for a kid's cut) because the service was absolutely worth every penny! Thank you so much!

My wife and I frequent this place. Every barber is top notch with fantastic customer relations and service. Best haircut Ive ever had in my life was here.

I'm waiting outside Unique Cuts now. It's still closed with no lights on. It's now past 10 AM on a Sunday. With 3 vehicles parked outside here waiting for them to open. It must be nice to turn away business, because I'm leaving.

We took our 2 year old for his first hair cut and they are hands down the best with kids when cutting hair we will definitely be going there from now on you guys did amazing job!

Love this place for my son’s haircut but they rarely open on time. After waiting for 30 minutes after the time they said that they would open, we had to go somewhere else. We’ve encountered this numerous times unfortunately.

Sunday gives you exactly what you want. Very friendly people. My family's been to alot of salons, and Unique Cuts is our go to place now.
