After carefully comparing flooring samples from various vendors for our new home, we selected Unique based on their sample board and pictures. When they installed the flooring, it looked nothing like the sample board they provided (see picture). We were so disappointed, but Wendy agreed that it wasn't right and assured us that she would fix the problem. After several weeks of waiting for them to make it right and several attempts to try to get more money out of us to finish the job, we realized they weren't going to make it right. It was a very disappointing experience because Wendy kept telling us she would make it right, but never came through and fixed the problem.

I have been working with Unique Hardwood for years. Wendy is the consummate professional, and her flooring is excellent. In addition to being beautiful and sustainable, it's incredibly durable and easy to maintain. She has a wide range of plank widths and finishes, and her installation crew is the best in the business. Unique Hardwood sells a great European made Oak floor with an oil/wax finish. It’s beautiful. You actually feel wood when it’s touched. Very durable. We love it. Adam gave exemplary service. He’s a true craftsman and totally addressed our needs. Marissa was excellent following the progress of the project and staying in touch. Although not working for Unique, Jeff referred us to Unique. We had been consulting with him on mistakes made on our last floor. Purchased from another company. He assured us Unique would do our project correctly. He was right. We bought our flooring from Unique Hardwood and had it shipped to our home. We needed to be able to match older floors in other parts of the house with this new look. Wendy helped us find the perfect wood and color, which was critical to tie the older floors in with the new floors. It came out amazing! The installer loved the wood as well. We couldn't be happier.
