16Not the greatest. Even though it was super crowded It wasn’t a long waiting time. That was the 4 star part but the way you are treated is not the greatest. I asked the technician 2 simple question (if I needed to change and also lay on my side) and she had an attitude answering. I know they are tired and all that but if the patient politely ask a question there is no reason to be rude.
They never answer the calls nor return a message if you able to even get through the voicemail.
HORRIBLE PLACE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE. Listen to the reviews go ELSEWHERE. They refuse to answer the phone, they hang up when they DONT want to work. They are EXTREMELY LAZY. How are they still open. Who’s even in charge that they allow them to represent you.
I went in for a mammogram came out shaking, crying and humiliated by the tech Nadia she shouldn’t be working there worst experience I’ve ever had in my life
I was having a horrible day. Sonia helped me schedule my appointment and she was amazing. My call only took max 2 minutes. Friendly and respectful. When I came in Dara and Mike front desk in the night omg impeccably warming, welcoming, friendly and made the process very smooth and also they were being courteous to the 5 patients that were there waiting and kept everyone informed in their process. I have never once seen that in my life which made time go by really fast! My MRI technician omg helped to calm me down since I am claustrophobic! Listened to me I actually felt like someone cared about me in the medical field and this team made a difference from beginning to end! Please ask to speak to Sonia and go in whenever Dara and Mike are in also that tech I did not get her name but please make sure only them. Previously I've had ugly experiences with others there and those girls are just in need of positivity. I loved my experience! Can they please either get a raise or a promotion. Also a healthy bonus would not hurt! Come out your pockets for good employees UMI <3
I’ve been trying to schedule an MRI here and after calling multiple times and leaving a voicemail I was told I had the wrong paperwork so I had my dr fax over the paperwork and I called again trying to schedule an appointment but they refuse to answer the phone. Options are to leave a voicemail and hope someone calls back or wait on hold for over 15 mins just to be hung up on. If you don’t like your job quit and work somewhere else stop putting people that are having health issues thru more trouble.
I have been calling for over two weeks and nobody answers
I was put on hold for 45 and then it went to voicemail.
They tell you to leave and someone will call you back they never call you back.
Don't bother dealing with UMI in Downey. No one ever answers the phone and after leaving several voicemail messages no one has called me back.
I just requested that my primary doctor refers me to a different imaging facility.
One star is too many!
UMIH in general has the worst scheduling process- long wait times for then the call to be picked up and hanged.
Took forever to get approval for my CT scan and postponed all of my phone calls. I don't want to leave a bad review but I'm in an urgent state and I can't wait any longer. Going to a different radiologist.
Beyond appalling! Tried to make an appointment for a CT scan and after spending an hour on hold was told they couldn’t “access “ my authorization number. I was then asked to take a photo of my Insurance authorization letter and text it to them. Never heard from them so contacted my insurance who also spent ages on hold before being told that their CT machine was broken and they couldn’t make appointments for a month. How is this place still in business?
Impossible to get anyone on the phone, cant even leave a voicemail since theyre voicemail box is full for obvious reasons
It’s crowded, stuff not helpful, take a long time from sign in to be registered and to be called for your test or exam
(3/21/23) 3 stars. So far I've only just made an appointment and judging by the other reviews I've had good luck so far Even the automated voice sounds bored and uninterested. It's not like I'm expecting a super happy tone but it did make me feel like I was being a bother. The phone wait time seems weird too. It first said 8 other callers are in line, then 7,6, and then it jumped to 1 and then telling me I'm first in line. Okay cool then. Then someone answered and after getting my info, went silent for a few mins while putting in my info and then telling me what appointment time they have available. I'm used to being asked if I prefer any days of the week specifically and/or time of day so it seemed abrupt but it's fine I know they'll offer what they have. I'll update my review after going to my appointment. Wish me luck.
They have the most caring staff. Very professional and clean facility. They are the best! Excellent. Definitely recommended!
Went in for x-ray, did have to wait for about 45 minutes but staff was great and called my phone when it was my turn.
