I’m gonna die laughing looking at the reviews. Had the pleasure of interacting with the infamous Asian lady first-hand 10 mins ago. It is true she is not suited for this job at all because she is far true to her Asian self to do a customer service job.
She is very straightforward, which might come off to most people as rude. I got lectured by her about being an adult, responsible, and confident. Not something I want to hear at USPS, but from her, anytime.
I want to watch her be mean to people all day, as entertainment but not when people want to mail their stuffs out. It can be very good reality tv. Whoever interested in my pitch, please contact me. USC certified screenwriter.

The old Asian lady who works here has the most obnoxious and rude attitude of all the people I’ve met in the world. Not just me but all the people who were waiting in the line would agree with me. In fact, I don’t think she should be working at all with that nasty attitude towards everyone.

I arrived at 4: 45 pm. I walked in and the lady said she couldn’t help me. She is an older Asian women. I pleaded with her that she closes at 5, but nope my Armenian face bothered her. A white man came in behind me and she said she would take of him. I’m sorry lady, but the US Post Office should never discriminate! Shame on her. She should get fired. I will file a complaint with the authorities.

Today I had the worst experience with this Asian lady, she gave me the nastiest service I've experienced! She was upset because I didn't tell her that I was sending this envelope to Mexico so I told her mail is mail and the address it's clearly on the envelope!
Than she started saying this is America! Who cares if this is America or China or Europe! We pay mail to go to any part of the world!
I think she should retire soon or start looking for another job! She doesn't belong there!

THE Asian woman, 50-60 or old enough to retire and not ruin this usps location is EXTREMELY RUDE.i realized everyone here is talking about her and give 1 star. Can USPS do something about her?

The Asian woman at the front pointedly said “next” to the white woman behind me on line. The woman told her hey, help the woman who was here first. I don’t know if it was a racial thing but it was completely bizarre.

For more than a year now I have been going to this branch of the Post Office in Pasadena (Catalina Station) every week. I find the service there outstanding! Esther and Ken are the friendliest, most helpful and knowledgeable workers and it's always a pleasure to see them engaging every customer with the same care and consideration for their needs. Catalina Station is an important branch of the U. S. Postal Service. And, in large part, it is employees like Esther and Ken (and others, too!) that make all the difference!

I do mailings of checks as a side job for a living. I often have to mail out 5-10 checks in a given day. With prepaid labels on envelopes. This morning I went in and wanted to mail the items. The man behind the counter said I was only allowed to mail 3 at a time and then had to get back in line. Mind you I already waited 15 minutes in line patiently while they spent 3 times the time with other 4 customers ahead of me than they did with me. Literally it took 2 minutes for them to scan my items before turning me away and telling me I had to get back in line. This place is run by people with a power trip. I am a huge advocate for the USPS, but this was the most disappointing experience I've had having gone to dozens of locations and doing this daily for the past year and a half.

I can't stand the fact that if they deliver your mail to your PO Box after 5: 30 pm (doesn't matter what day of the week it is), you can't get into your own PO Box that you pay for until 8: 30 am the next day. And if you work from 8: 30 am to 5pm 6 days a week, you have to wait up to a whole week to get your mail from your own PO Box. Every other post office that I've had a Box in keeps the lobby where the boxes are open at night so customers have access to their mail when they get home from work, whether there are employees working or not. It's one of the perks of paying over $320 per year for a PO BOX, or so you would think. But not here. I'm really regretting extending my PO box.

I made some mistakes on my packages & the postal worker was very helpful. Extremely long lines & clearly she was overworked. I wish they hired more folks to help with their staff’s stress levels.

There is a woman who works here who is extremely rude and unhelpful with most of the customers. She is probably around 65 or 70 and of Asian decent. When I arrived I was the 5th person in line, and she was chatting with a woman about a whole bunch of non-mail related nonsense while the line grew ever longer, and she was the only employee there. When the woman in front of me in line saw me roll my eyes at how long their conversation was (10 minutes and counting since I walked in), she told me she walked in 20 min ago and this was going on even back then. The next customer had their head ripped off by this employee because he had the audacity to sigh when he found out he has just waited 40 minutes for holiday stamps and they were all out. By this time, the line was stretching out the lobby and around the corner, and after we saw this woman tear this poor guy a new one over nothing we all exchanged worried glances. If anyone is gonna "go postal" it's this woman.
