United States Postal Service reviews
18 Definitely a nice PO. Had to wait a little. Not because of the workers but because of other people not knowing how to package there own stuff.
It’s common sense
Just Bring your own tape or they also have some for sale
I’ve sent out mail from this place two times and both time there seems to have some issue with the delivery. I am extremely annoyed and will never ever mail with them again from this branch. Very very incompetent
Thank you so much for finding my important mail! The sender sent my mail to a wrong address, thanks for your help, it finally came to me. Every staff I met in this office is so helpful, very appreciated, thanks again
Very nice office. So fast and quick.compare to the one on sand canyon. Not sure if i got lucky but 6 people in front of me. The guy just checked them out quick and he corrected my package info so fast.
A little hidden but hopefully a good thing.
Definitely my go to for my shipping needs
So far the best office in Irvine.
For those who don't know! YES you have to bring your own tape don't be ignorant and cheap. Common sense tbh. It's not that hard to write
From: and To: on a box IQ levels in Irvine are at an all time low.
This post office location is a prime example of why people want mail to be privatized. I’ve never actually had packages lost before until I moved in the area which is right by the Harvest Post Office. Over the span of a year, I’ve had 3 packages lost by them (not including the ones returned to me by my neighbors). I’ve also had instances where they would deliver to the wrong box and a neighbor would return my package to me. The 3 cases of lost packages were never found and I was only able to get the USPS branch manager to admit fault for one. I’m at the point now where I have packages being sent to my office instead…
Screw this USPS. I sent an expensive cigar to a buddy to celebrate the birth of his son. All they asked was whether it contained liquids or perishables. And after paying $4-5 in postage it showed up opened and w/o cigar. Meanwhile the insurance they tried selling me was $35, twice what the cigar was worth!
#Privatize the Post Office. F all y'all.
NEVER USE THIS POST OFFICE! ITS TERRIBLE AND SLOWWWWWWWW! Around Jan 20th I dropped off a first class mail into the mail box to be delivered to Long Beach, Ca. (normally takes 2 days from Irvine to Long Beach) 2 weeks later and still has not been processed as I have not received a confirmation. I don’t know how else to complain about this FKN SLOW post office. AVOID! So many post offices around. Boy, I learned my lesson.
So frustrated as a PO Box customer. They have slashed the lobby hours to practically business hours - which is not the time I'm able to pick up my mail. I have showed up supposedly when the lobby is open after business hours and of course the door is locked. The notices they sent out talk about having to lessen hours due to crime.in Irvine? I have no other option so I'm forced to keep paying more for less service. If you're opening a new PO Box, pick a different location if you work regular business hours.
Scheduled a passport appointment here on a Saturday and had no issues. Not sure where all the bad reviews come from but while I was waiting for the passport employee, I observed the line for the main services and it moved quickly and all the employees were professional.
I sent a package to LA from Irvine, and It took one month. And my package was Priority Mai and it supposed to take maximum of three to seven days
Lazy, slow, not helpful! I went early to pick up my package this morning. They spending time to talk with other and let people waiting long! They smile to each other but only to their coworkers. I had wait almost 20 minutes to pick up, and she handed it to me with attitude. Such wasted time for doing easy job.
Terrible place. They lose supposedly tracked mail all the time. The mail is scanned in and vanishes. They just shrug their shoulders. I recently had a package of checks that vanished after depositing them in their own drop box only to have the contents reappear in the bushes a few miles away.
The staff is a nightmare: slow and unfriendly. I avoid them by using the self service machines. They don’t stock the USPS mailers, so you can’t get the size you need.
Honestly, I think they’re working at the USPS to encourage people to use FedEx. The USPS staff could be featured in FedEx or UPS ads.
If you have choices, choose others. Have been waiting for this package for a whole month.
USPS has the worst system ever. The system of USPS has something wrong with it. No one can help me with the problem I got. Now I have to wait. For the package to be shipped back to the sender and be shipped back to me again. Expecting total waiting will be 4 months or longer. (Not the first half year waiting for a mailing by the way)
The tracking showed that my package was delivered on Saturday at 8am when my husband and I were home but none of us heard any knocking or bell ringing.
Redeliver notice was left in our mailbox.
On Monday, I filled in the form and left it in the mailbox for redelivery on Tuesday or Wednesday.
On Wednesday, my package is in Pasadena!
On Thursday, got a copy of a notice said the package can’t be redelivery, needed someone to sign. I have to go get the package at the post office by the end of next week.
On Friday, went there to pickup. The staff said it’s in Pasadena… on the way back to sender. Can’t help. You have to talk to the sender.
On Saturday, made a call which was an automatic response. Could only schedule redelivery on Monday.
And got 2 more copies of the same notice to get the package at the post office by the end of the week.
On Monday, went to the post office. Got the same response. Once again the staff said… on the way back to sender. No one can help with this issue.
Can’t believe how ignorant these people are. They left a note in our mailbox to come pick up a package because it was to big for the mailbox (couldn’t even drop it at the door) I went in 20 days later and they stated they had to pick it up within 30 days (it was). The supervisor then told me “I should have been home if I knew I was getting a delivery…. ”
Very helpful and friendly staff. Specially the Asian lady is very patient and kind. She waited over time to finish my application for the passport.
Poor customer service, very very slow. They act like it’s painful for them if you ask a question! Management needs to pay closer attention to employees regarding customer service!
I shipped a package I specifically wanted a receipt from the counter, to make sure the delivery is "checked-in" in the system. After waiting in line for 10mins, the staff in the middle counter at 4pm this afternoon 6/2 told me she could not scan and accept the package.for the first time I was told this way. In past, I got my receipts for some packages this way in the same post office, and sometimes I just dropped off the packages I dont care at the right side of the counter. Very disappointed at the customer service and also hope the status of shipment will be updated soon and my package will be safely delivered. This uncertainty could totally have been avoided, especially I got the receipt the same way before.
