United States Postal Service reviews
15It’s insane how the postal workers here always act like your bothering them by coming to their job asking them for assistance. Smh. If we could do it ourselves we certainly would.
I should have read the reviews before I got a PO box here. I'm 5'1 and they gave me a po box at the very top so I have to get assistance opening the Box and getting my mail out. They have parcel lockers that are supposed to be in use for packages for people who have PO boxes but they do not use them. Instead you do have to wait typically 15 to 30 minutes in line just to retrieve your package. They really need to hire more people to work the windows due to the amount of traffic they get. Don't setup a passport time here either.that takes for forever. They have one self shipping machine which no one can tell is there because they hid it in the corner. They need a greeter or door worker to help people so that it cuts down the time getting to a window.
This place NEVER can deliver a package properly. I have had to go pick up my mail twice now, when I was AT THE OFFICE waiting to the packages to be delivered. NO ONE CAME TO THE DOOR. I received a note in my mailbox on the 1st floor that them "attempted to deliver" they never attempted anything. Now, I am getting ready to go there for a third time. This time, they tried delivering the package at 9PM! That was days ago and there has been no updates since. THIS POSTAL OFFICE IS TRASH. They need to be shut down. I am honestly baffled that USPS is still a service when their are SO MUCH BETTER shipping options out there. Now I will have to wait 30+ mins.for them to tell me they lost me package. HATE THIS LOCATION. Would give 0 stars is I could.
Probably the worst post office in the country (I hope). 1 person working, 45 minute wait just to be told to wait in another area. Also freezing cold inside the building
Please fire that piece of trash working at the passport window. Ignores you even when you have an appointment. Also talks back to you when asking questions. Why hire trashy ppl who power trip
I was told I could call this location instead of the customer service, when my package wasn't forwarded like it should have been. I have called every 5 min for over 2 hours. They don't answer. Do they even have a phone
Wow. I usually take reviews with a pinch of salt. But 40 minutes of waiting I still didn't get to the front of the line and had to leave. I guess I'll try tomorrow.
Had to change my one star to 5?
Michelle and Wilma (shift supervisors) are trying to build the trusts it’s the locals one fire at a time.
I live here. I have to make this location work.
The supervisors are crazy. They need to shut this branch down. I have filed the MOST scathing complaints and I hope Sandi and Sonya get fired. Completely unhinged.
Michelle today was screaming at the workers in the loading area today and that seemed really rude and not professional.
I don’t care if this location is closer, GO TO A DIFFERENT USPS. I waited 45 minutes to deal with a lady that so clearly hates her life and job. One of the rudest people I’ve encountered in quite a while. She was rude from the start with her interaction with me as well as with multiple people previously. She was not wearing a name tag. The supervisor was present and listening to this sorry excuse of an employee speak and did nothing but offer an apology. There was not even a solution. Welp, guess that’s why they work at the post office. It seems most all of the USPS have 1 to 2 star ratings pretty consistently these days. It’s safe to say there’s no bar to be met here during the hiring process.
I’ve been here for 30 minutes. There has been no one at the register for the past 10 minutes and the line is just getting bigger.
Walked in there Today 09/06/22 some lady called Michelle Not to old looking lady. Was Screaming at Workers in the Loading area. This is not a proper Behavior to have a "supervisor" talking to workers in this usps location. Not pleseant to see this kind of behavior
I brought my own pre-packged box and the guy at the window yelled at me for using duct tape that at the store. He kept repeating it over and over every time he spoke. Tell the stores to stop putting it near mailing stuff then. Another guy was shipping boxes out in duct tape and didn't get yelled at. This place is the worst to come to. Every employee is rude and snaps at you, no matter what you do.
The ABSOLUTE WORST! DO NOT GO HERE. THE ATTENDANTS DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU, NOR DO THEY CARE OR EMPATHIZE WITH HOW LONG YOU HAVE TO WAIT. I was there just this past Tuesday, where I waited well over an hour and a half (no exaggeration!), just to get to see an attendant. At one point, the line grew to more than thirty customers, with only two attendants working, then one, then NONE! Literally, ALL WINDOWS WERE CLOSED AS A FULL, BUSY LINE OF PEOPLE WAITED! The last attendant closed his window.to sit at his desk to read! I'm not kidding! He sat there and read something. I and fellow customers (the people just behind me) had to watch and laugh, especially since it happened just as I was the next person in line (no kidding.go figure!). My fellow customer was from England, which he commented that this would have never happened in London and expressed how unacceptable this was! Welcome to civil service America! It's also SUPER-DYSFUNCTIONAL at this locale: At one point during our wait, a person had a full-on shouting match with a separate attendant at the opposite "Pick Up Only" window, of whom was actually being rude to this customer. It was then that a number of other employees filtered out from the back and showed up to help rectify the issue. Which begs the question: how many employees are back there and how can they justify all those back of office employees, yet the front end window attendants are few and far between? !? ! This negative review is not to discount the hard work put in by employees, but rather the dysfunction of how backwards things work there. There is ZERO REASON for anyone to have to wait over an hour and a half, then endure the indignity of having the only singular open window just smugly close as a long line stands there waiting for help. And I wasn't even the unhappiest among the customers (others were much more angry and fuming than I was!). No floor attendants.no guides, no open windows! Management at this location should be ashamed of themselves for letting this happen and do so, on the reg!
