United States Postal Service reviews
16Not enough staff. The ones they do have is not very friendly. Expect extensive wait times.
One lonely postal worker continued to be friendly and helpful to all customers. Ok, so they won’t tape your box, you have to buy a roll of tape - seems reasonable. Buy the tape and bring it with you next time. The only people dragging down the vibe were a couple of complaining customers who arrived in a bad mood anyway. They obviously need more staff but the one who served me was efficient, helpful and courteous.
Doesn't open on time and I don't mean by a few minutes. Today there was a long line and after 20 minutes someone finally came out and said they were still not able to open. Waste of time.
I had a very positive experience at this USPS location on Friday afternoon. I got in at 4: 50 or 10 minutes before it’s scheduled close at 5pm. Store manager Cinnamon and staff Angel stayed till 5: 45pm to help everyone who got in before 5pm. Cinnamon was really helpful and try to help everyone out whenever she could. We all appreciate that during this short staffed season.
Not well run, always a huge line and half the time the automated postal machine is broken so you have to wait in the long line
Dreadful place. Centrally located, so always enormous crowds. Never more than one clerk on duty. Soviet bread lines to perform the simplest of tasks. Hire more people!
I was a little shocked to see that the post office does not open until 10am. However, the lobby opens earlier. If you just need to drop your envelopes or small packages off, that can be done in the lobby. They also have a self-serve kiosk for other items. I'm not a fan of the self-serve option, but I was able to use it. I still left my priority mail item with the staff at the counter. Due to the pandemic, even if you pay for priority mail, you can expect delays. I think the only way to avoid this problem is to use FedEx or UPS.
This is by far the worst post office ever. It's 10: 05 AM and counting.it's still not open.
Awful post office. First, you have to wait more than 30 minutes or even an hour. Secondly, you can be deceived, as they did with me, they will make you the most expensive price for the package. Even if you say that they were wrong, they will not do anything. Do not come here if you do not want to lose money and time
Worst Post Office in California! Mail never arrives on time, not enough people working at the front desk with huge lines. Post office should investigate this branch for lack of service they provide. Very rude workers with attitude work here. Unfortunately when you live close to this branch your mail will never be on time.
Pretty good post office, rather small space but nice staff and have all supplies needed, for ex.some would be missing a pen or scotch tape but this one has both!
Sometimes the service is fine with no complaints. Other times they are very rude and lack any type of service. Multiple times I needed a little tape and instead of handing it out, they want me to buy a roll of tape. When other people came in at the same time they were given the tape with no issues. So I don’t know.
Customer service is the worst. They never answer your questions. Look at you like you are bothering them. Every time I go there, I leave that place frustrated. Just avoid it
I SHIPPED A PARCEL ON 04/09/2020 FROM SANTA MONICA TO AUSTRALIA, AND IT IS NOW ALMOST 2 MONTHS HELDED IN LA DISTRIBUTION CENTRE? I TRIED TO CALL AND VISIT LOCAL POST WHERE I SHIPPED, SAYING I SHOULD CONTACT LA DISTRIBUTION CENTER, BUT NO LUCK! I WILL NEED A PROPER SOLUTION BEFORE I FILE A LAW SUIT. I WILL NEED MY PARCEL BACK WITH FULL REFUND.
I mailed my dad and my brother each a birthday card on the same day, to the same address. My brother never received his card. I paid for postage and mailed them at the counter.
Got a package to ship and got pre-printed labels. It’s ironic that they can’t print out their own labels, I had to go to the UPS store to print it out. Anyway, now I have a box and a label but I need tape to put the label on, went to the counter, the guy with glasses said he couldn’t do it when I asked if I can use the tape right in front of him, he said those are not for packing and referred me to the lady at the corner, but the lady used the exact same type of tape to tape my label. The lady was nice but the guy’s attitude is just rude, I bet he hates his job and don’t want to deal with customers.
