United States Postal Service reviews
16Impressed with service here. Staff are friendly and assist you to process your request right away. In comparison to some of the other offices, this one is managed and operated smoothly.
The USPS is struggling keeping an adequate work force. The workers are nice but the office typically has one window open, even at the beginning of of the month whichbis the busiest time. The lines are long, so be prepared to wait.
I love the Del Valle Post Office. It's nearly always less crowded than the main office at Dockweiler. The clerks-Veronica, Kathie, and Norma-are always pleasant to me. Maybe a patron below who says clerks there are grumpy caught them on an off day? Probably anyone could get a bit grumpy occasionally doing that work day in and day out. Patience! Kindness! I do agree with the patron who says the building and grounds could use a sprucing up. A fresh coat of paint and some flowers here and outside would really help. How about it USPS? Got some money in your budget for that?
This is my favorite USPS office in the area (Washington & Norwood). I sell online so I am at any given post office 3x a week. The two female clerks that I normally see there are always friendly, helpful and attentive. The place is small, clean and usually not that crowded and the lines move fast unless they are short staffed. If you want good/great customer service come prepare and meet the staff half way, don't expect them to pack for you, tape, fill out forms or tell you what service is best, do some online research at USPS.com. Parking is limited but street parking is easily found. I drive 2 miles just to avoid the USPS on 43rd St.and Central, which is my home office but I rather walk out feeling good than mistreated
They probably stole my mail I had sent it and I still haven’t heard back from who I mailed it too
The process was smooth, this was my first time using the service and was very simple, thank you. Will definitely be using this facility in the future. The building needs to be taken care of though, maintenance and some fresh paint, would make a big difference.
They careless with priority mail/packages customer service lazy and don’t help she even told me that if I filed the insurance claim that it would be a waste of time she put no effort into helping at all so this how you handle people important mail?
One star because I couldn't leave 0. The carrier that was supposed to deliver my package containing a cashiers check for a large sum of money with a signature confirmation decided to bypass this process and simply leave it in the mailbox in the large building where my package was expected. They signed for the package themselves and provided no name. The office that the package was supposed to be delivered never received or signed for it and it seemed like it had been lost. Worst of all they had no name to track a person down and confirm delivery. The supervisor I spoke to, Rosa, was extremely rude when I asked for a refund for a service that was not completed as it should have been. She was dismissive and hung up on me. Simply terrible, no accountability. I understand the current pandemic situation has made it so having others sign for items unsafe but the least the carrier could have done was deliver it to a real person and ensure they got a name in case anything happened.
Horrible customer service. An older woman who did not speak English was having a hard time understanding the clerk and instead of helping her through the process the clerk was extremely rude. This location needs to step up their customer service and be more patient with customers who need extra guidance/help.
Greatly disappointed with the service that we received so far. We had a priority mail going to Guam and we scheduled it twice because the first pick up didn't happen (cancelled but says on the pick up page it ws "complete") So after the 2nd pick up was cancelled again, we just brought the 44 lb package in the post office. We had the label but we needed a receipt to make sure we will have it on file. Only 1 lady was working by the window, after 20 mins in line, another lady came in to the rescue. She called me and my colleague in she asked to see the label, we said it's 44 lbs, and she had my colleague lift up the box 3 times just to recheck the label. Then she realized it was quite difficult, she asked us to meet by the door (outgoing mail) so she can scan. Unenthusiastically, she scanned and gave us the receipt. I understand it's very tough especially for USPS right now to work efficiently, I can't really expect people under that kind of pressure to work with passion and excitement. But, I hope these issues can be resolved soon, because it will have domino effect with us as businesses too who rely on USPS for shipment.
Place looks like it hasn't been cleaned up in a decade, the employees look miserable and don't smile. They do get the job done though ️
All my checks got stolen, priority mail never goes on time or never gets there.terrible customer service,
Gary is very hospitable and helpful and attentive. I love this location. The staff is always attentive and supportive. Empathetic too. One day I was very saddened by a terrible news I got. And one of the staff members extended her kindness to me and with very beautiful words she soothed my worries away.till this day I will never forget such gestures of kindness and empathy.
All of the Mail Managers at the windows are great. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They always welcomed me with a smile. I would have given this location 5 stars if they were open over the weekends and had extended hours. Other downsides are lack of parking. Side note use extreme caution to avoid speeding drivers when entering and exiting Washington street.
I love coming to this post office everyone here us super friendly and helpful. Keep up the good work! Only complaint is the customers, they're so rude and impatient!
Won't deliver a package to my place even though I get mail every day. Aren't open on the weekends so what am I supposed to do?
