It's a hot mess up in there. Long lines and wait times. Bring your surplus of patience. Trainees are the most pleasant ones in there. Good luck

Have never gotten a package delivered to my house cause they say driveway is not accessable but at least once a week out neighbors packages are delivered to my door, why can they make a mistake and deliver the wrong package to my door but not my packages to my door, so I went into the post office to ask about this issue and try to get it resolved with a supervisor, the supervisor never came out but took down my address and phone number and they said they would call me, and that was the last time I've received any mail at all to my house not even to my mailbox at the cluster boxes now, and my Amazon packages all say delivered to mailbox but they aren't and because they say they were delivered I have no recourse through amazon.
Tampering with the mail is a federal offense even if it's the post office doing it

Not stoked about a lot of things, but I don't know who to contact to change anything, so I'm stuck with it. We need to change this system.

For the last year we sometimes get our Mail and other times we have to wait 4 or 5 day to get it. When we go in to get our Mail. So we can pay our bill without late payments they said it was box up getting ready to go out. Now it is 7 day with out our Mail. My husband has been waiting for his medication that he must take. What is going on. This post office needs to get their act together.

I’d give zero stars if I could. Havnt received my mail in over a week. Package was “out for delivery” yet driver never showed up. Said I could pick up my package at post office. I go in next day and was told no cuz they were overwhelmed. Went in a day later and the gentleman couldn’t even find my package. They lost my $1500 package that is one of a kind and cannot be replaced. The lady with the burgundy hair was extremely rude.

Why can't the Placerville Post Office hire a dedicated person to answer the phone. I have tried 20 times today and got a hang up after 20 or more rings on each attempt. The front counter is too busy to be required to "ATTEMPT" to answer phones.

Been on hold for an hour with no one answering. My package was not delivered today because they could "not find" my house. Have never had an issue with things getting delivered previously. Can't even get ahold of anyone to get this issue resolved. This is ridiculous.

My family, like many others, completely relies on the USPS, particularly the Placerville branch, for assistance with our small business and for purchases of medications and other items. Even though the customers around us can be extremely rude to the workers, we have always received kind and considerate treatment. We value and thank you for your contributions to the community. Cary and David, you two rock!

Very long, slow line and I'm missing some mail. Paid 2 weeks ago to get my box rekeyed, I lost my keys, and am still waiting for that to happen. The people are always courteous and as helpful as possible, but I feel the mail delivery system should be more reliable.

Sharing the same complaint as Joe Braun, posted about a month ago. The Placerville USPS on many occasions has not delivered packages to either the cluster boxes or our address with the explanation that "there is no access to our property. " This is a lie that allows the worker to not deliver the packages. This is an ongoing and recurring problem for this Post Office. The last time my wife went to the Placerville PO to get these "undeliverable packages" it took 45 minutes as apparently they did this to a lot of people. She said there were hundreds of boxes behind the counter and in such disarray it was taking 5-10 minutes for the counter person to find each person's "undeliverable packages".
If you want to see incompetence, simply visit the Placerville USPS office.

The Placerville Post Office is terrible. They have two tasks, put items in the correct boxes. Deliver packages. The package delivery, specifically from this post office, s unacceptable. Yesterday and today, 2 packages show status of delivered in parcel locker. They are not, nor are there keys for a parcel locker in our mailbox. We have found our packages in boxes that were unlocked. I am completely baffled at the Placerville Post Office’s inability to deliver a package correctly. We also get notices in our mailbox to come and pick up the packages. Placerville Post Office, get a handle on your tasks. It’s not that hard. There is no excuse, except laziness, that mail, or a package should ever go into the incorrect mailbox. I assume your delivery people can read? So pathetic.

I want to find the government official responsible for this post office and report them for fraud. Over the past few months we have consistently been told delivery was attempted for packages when someone was home all day and nobody tried to deliver. We've received notices that the package was unable to be delivered because the driveway was blocked, which has never been the case.
We've had packages just disappear during shipping, but at least Amazon refunds us quickly so we can try again.
The one time I got home from work early and met the lady dropping off the mail at the boxes, she complained about Amazon, saying they never anticipated the volume, and can't handle it.
I am so sick of government employees making excuses for horrible service, while getting better pay and benefits than I do.
The USPS is a joke.

The women at the counter with the blond and green hair is not very nice. I hate going there because it’s a total waste of time. She hates her job and constantly complains about it.
They will never ever answer the phone. My Missing prescription package is not lost… they just can’t find it or locate it in their system.

Ummm I think it’s lost and not just delayed.

Yes. This post office will leave your packages in the rain. I know it's a pain to add all of everyone's packages to your route, but I also know that I don't have control over who my suppliers use for shipping. So if you don't want to deliver my packages, get a different job. Otherwise, stop leaving my packages in the rain.

If you order Amazon you better get a post office box. This post office has one day delivery items "Out for Delivery" 3 days in a row. It's to the point where it's hit and miss if you even get your stuff at all. I don't know what they're doing but it's certainly not delivering mail.
