United States Postal Service reviews
20This only for passport and certain package pickup and drop off. Not a full service post office. Very misleading
CITY HEIGHTS UNIVERSITY AREA 37th STREET - This is the 3rd time they leave a SORRY WE MISSED YOU automatically without cause. Every time I have been home and they do not try and knock, it says FINAL NOTICE even though they did not try to deliver the package to me to begin with.
My review is for the Passport Office only. Of note, I filled out my forms online, had all my documentation, and payment ready upon arrival. The service was fast and the teller was very knowledgeable. She informed me of the entire process and assisted me in making changes to my form. I could not have asked for an easier process. Google even said the location was busier than usual but there was nobody in line when I arrived. I do not the teller name but the receipt said Clerk #07.thank you again Clerk #07.
Rude employee. No flexibility. We were 7 minutes late for a passport appointment. We have an 11 month old baby who had a diaper explosion on the way which needed to be attended to, leading to our delay. The staff member had already taken a walk-in in place of us. Basically told us to come back and wait on stand by (with a baby) haha. This is why people hate government employees
No one answers the phone ever and its nearly impossible to find someone working when going for mail pickup and/or issues.
What a mess. No one seems to know what's going on around here or where anything is. I've been here for an hour and a half trying to pick up a package and am writing this review while I'm on hold with customer service where I can hopefully get someone on the line that can actually help me. FML
"Please stay on the line while your call is transferred to the operator. " They just let the phone ring and ring and then it goes busy. Why even have a phone? If the requirements for a passport were stated more clearly online I wouldn't have to call them. Typically incompetent. So now to get my answer I'll have to physically drive there.in the day of the smart phone and internet they cannot get it together which would be more efficient for both them and us.
Place is horrible. I was helped by Daphne who ignored the appointment time I made weeks ahead of time and took a whole family of 4 in front of me because I needed help filling out a small section of with my passport papers.
If I have an appointment any help needed should be included in the appointment since NOBODY answers the phone when you call for help either.
I feel sorry for the elderly or anybody needing a little bit of assistance with their first passport.
Very unprofessional and almost seemed like a joke, called out for work, scheduled appointment over a month ahead of time, missed work to attend my appointment only to sit outside of the building for a hour to be was informed they “only have 1 person who does passports and she’s not coming in today”, hahaha what a joke, no rescheduled appointment just left hanging dry, keep in mind you may be done very dirty if you choose to trust this office!
This is for passport renewal only. My family and I had outstanding services for passport renewal processing at this place. We had an appointment (Please get an appointment), showed up and we’re taken as soon as she was done with the person before us. We came ready though…. With folders of applications, photos, copies of all the certs/DL that they needed and checkbook for fees. The processing lady was super friendly, knowledgeable of the processes and had a great sense of humor. 3 of us were in and out of there less than 30 mins. And a little over a month later (today Oct 4,2021) our passports arrived… Can’t be more pleased. All their info (hours, docs required and instructions) are online…We just have to do our parts to help make it easier for the clerk to do her tasks.
Two clerk spots and 2 clerks.
Not like Linda Vista 5 spots for helpers, desk personnel, yet ONLY One, mean, unruly too-long-on-job POSTAL worker, aka bully. The people at Mission Valley Mall great and helpful.
Never returning to Linda Vista PO!
After seeing all the reviews I was hesitant to schedule my passport appointment here. Glad I did, however. Valerie was easy to work with and super helpful. She explained the whole process, and my appointment took less than 15 minutes. Give her a raise!
They can't find 3 packages.over 200 bucks. 2 they say they delivered but didn't. One they have no clue.gave me a number and never answers the phone. Now I have to beg the sellers to resend it. It really shouldn't be like this at all.
I made an appointment online for my passport and made sure I brought the right documents. Valerie was very friendly and efficient, I was out 15 minutes. Great experience.
What I don’t understand is how for 5+ years they don’t answer the phone I seen so many reviews & they still don’t pick up after all of this time, what is there deal, 1 star since they don’t answer phones still, this place is absolutely garbage avoid it here at all costs there are way more places that are better
I went to get my passport and Daphne was very sweet and assisted us with a positive and reassuring attitude. Thank you again!
Driver said my apt was vacant wile I have my recently washed motorcycle in front of my door. Now the shipper wants to charge shipping twice. Also, no one answers the phone.
I was expecting the worst passport application experience based on previous reviews, but it was the complete opposite. The woman working the desk was super organized and helpful, respected the appointment times to the point that she let me go before someone else who was there before me with a later appointment time. Of course do your homework, have all your ID items and paperwork done, and it will go smoothly.
The delivery drivers will say they “delivered” your package & even scan it. But will not walk out of their truck and actually deliver it. The representatives at the actual USPS building (INCLUDING THE SUPERVISORS) are super rude over the phone. I understand dealing with people’s mail must be exhausting, but arguing with the customer who is telling you YOUR DRIVER DID NOT DELIVER MY PACKAGE is unprofessional. When asked to call the driver and ask where the package was delivered or to dispatch him again to show me, they refused & forced me to just file a claim. So not only am I missing a DEEP FREEZER, which I had been waiting a month for, but I am also missing an explanation. This is the second time I’ve had mail “DELIVERED” and not really be there (the first time, was a social security check they kept saying was delivered until I threatened to have an investigation filed. All of a sudden, my check was delivered the next day).
Worst customer service run by clowns. I was on hold for 30 and hour, they rarely pick up the phone. When I made a call again they literally put me on hold again, they didnt even ask for my name or tracking number. Even doe after they pick up the guy did not help much and when asking questions he just hangs up. How hard is it to help with a package?
