The complex i live at has had our mail room vandalized and all mail stolen, for months and USPS has been holding mail. Very kind staff. The gentleman that I had to wait in a secondary line to speak with, was very helpful. He told me I needed to call the postal inspector and file a claim for mail theft.
He was hesitant on giving me my mail at first as my ID wasn't matching the address, but I explained to him I do not have any mail with this address because it has all been stolen. He did give me my mail because my name on ID was the same as the mail and I had informed delivery on.

This place is the absolute worst. I scheduled my delivery for a specific date and the parcel has been sitting at this location for a week while usps still stops by daily to deliver my mail. What is going on? Lowest performing workers ever! After calling, had the rudest operator. He just said it was sitting on his shelf and had no idea why it wasn’t delivered. Ridiculous. Had to go through so many hoops just to figure out where it was and for this guy to tell me that.

If I could give them zero stars, I would they never pick up the phone. They are never available when you need something from them. They always have an attitude. Maybe the manager needs a new team or maybe the company needs new people with great and better attitude to serve the community.

This is the 3rd time I had bad experience at this location, and each time, it's because of the same person, Blanca, who is mean and always makes my visit miserable. I recommend avoiding her, or it's a guarantee that she'd ruin your day. The other employees here are nice, so it is really unfortunate that this one person makes the whole team look bad. She shouldn't be in front to serve customers.

I had an urgent matter of getting my first mortgage payment to be sent to Guild Mortgage and USPS wouldn't allow for a change of address or even a redeliver. The envelope with the cashiers check just sat at the post office at Linda Vista San Diego for 22 business days. They also mentioned after 15 business days that they would send it back to me. I told them that this is urgent, but they had no care for their customer. I even paid for first-class mail and registered mail because it has such a high value of money inside the envelope and the tracking history was very poorly updated. They only did one update and that was the item being delivered to the destination, but no one was there to pick it up so they would redeliver the next business day. Guild Mortgage emailed me today, before the item was going to be mailed back to me, that "Unfortunately, the payment was not located at the post office. We recommend you place a stop payment and send us receipt of the fee you had to pay to stop payment and we will refund you the stop payment fee. We apologize for the inconvenience". A very terrible performance for both USPS and Guild Mortgage.

We live in Linda Vista, and our mail has been delivered to the incorrect address 3 times over the past 2 weeks. Fortunately, it was to the same incorrect residence, and the lady has brought our mail to us instead of discarding it. Not sure what is the best way to communicate with the Post Office to advise them of the mis-deliveries.

This is the slowest servicing USPS I’ve ever been to. If you need to come in and speak to someone, give yourself at least a 20-30 minute buffer, even if there’s only 3 people ahead of you in line.

I normally don't leave reviews but I've had enough of certain clerks at this location. Had an issue before where I dropped off a package in the drop off bin and the package ended up lost. The lady with the long black hair told me that I should have brought it to the window and got a drop off receipt. Okay? The various other times I tried doing that, she would give me an attitude to just use the drop off bin.

Such a miserable and rude person.

I don't go to the post office often, but holy cow they are rude people in bad moods. I don't care if FedEx costs more, these people are a waste of time

BLANCA — THE MOST UNPROFESSIONAL, RUDE, AND HORRIBLE WORKER AT LINDA VISTA POST OFFICE.

SHE GOT SO MUCH UGLY ATTITUDES EVERY SINGLE TIME WE DROP OFF OUR MAIL/PACKAGES THERE EVEN THOUGH WE DID NOT DO A SINGLE S*** TO HER. SHE’S SO ARROGANT AND ALWAYS AGGRESSIVE WITH THE CUSTOMERS LIKE WE ALL OWE HER SOMETHING. SHE HONESTLY GIVES EVERYONE BAD VIBES.

SHE SHOULD BE FIRED AND NOT WORKING AT CUSTOMER SERVICE ANYWHERE BECAUSE OF HER ULGY, GRUMPY ATTITUDE.

I NEVER WANTED TO WRITE ANY BAD REVIEWS ANYWHERE BUT THIS BLANCA THING HAPPENED SO MANY TIMES TO MANY PEOPLES ALREADY AND IT SHOULD BE ADDRESSED.

IT LITERALLY COST NOTHING TO BE NICE BLANCA.

I had an exceptionally good experience at this post office. 1) I turned on mail forwarding but a package that had shipped since then made it to the old address. When I called this post office, someone picked up within a minute (way less hold time than when I tried calling USPS Customer Service) and when I explained the situation he actually helped to retrieve the package from the old address for me. Now that is above and beyond, amazing customer service. 2) When I went to this post office to pick up the package, April was so kind and helpful. She called a supervisor who helped me to retrieve my package right away, and April also helped me to pick out a box for shipping a laptop. I was really grateful for their help.

I do not understand what is so hard about complexes for these people. Consistently we received mail either for the wrong building or unit number OR BOTH. A lot of times my mail got lost. I called to ask what happened and they said they will investigate and call back. Later my neighbor gave me my order who mistakenly received it and USPS still hasn't called me back 2 months later. Also remember handing mail to the mail person to return to sender with it written on the envelope clearly and she simply put it back in our mail box. Always have to drive up here for lost items and the staff is usually unfriendly. If you live in a complex using this post office, do yourself a favor and have your stuff shipped to a friend. This place is a joke.

Well, happy impending holiday season for shipping and the ol' USPS. If the postal service employee who greeted (read as verbally berated) me while I dropped off pre-labeled packages celebrates a quasi-religious holiday wherein a portly fellow delivers packages, and for some reason this season these packages happened to be sent via USPS rather than sleigh, I can possibly understand the workplace demeanor as the sheer amount of coal backlogged and waiting to be delivered to this staff member's residence must be invariably daunting. And don't forget to tack on this year's conveniently added holiday season package surcharges.

I run an ecommerce business and fulfill online orders; I am a conduit for packages/parcels and ship almost exclusively through USPS- a sheer joy I might add. This compels me to cross paths with the illustrious disgruntled postal worker from time to time, and rarely do I stop to really think about my interactions, but I did today because of how jarring the whole experience was. It warms my heart to know that a postal service employee gets paid to yell at and belittle customers. I'll keep this memory near and dear to me at my after-dinner fireside tea-time. I mean, I might be going out on a limb here by suggesting all people have emotional responses to stressors and work. I generally choose to project my issues verbally at passing cloud cover or red stoplights rather than people I do not know. Does this particular post office fail to nurture the sufficient level of endorphins required to maintain basic human social interactions? You be the judge, there are plenty of other glowing customer service reviews here. Maybe we as a community should chip in and get the staff some stress balls.

2 Stars for the actual mail service, the mailperson who I deal with on the route is exceptionally kind and reliable, I have nothing but positives to say in that regard. Subsequently redacted to one star because that's not really what is being reviewed. Should the need arise to visit a postal service location, as it undoubtedly will, I suggest elsewhere with highly recommended specific intent.
