United States Postal Service reviews
17Stood in the lobby for 30 min waiting to be helped and nobody would come to the register. I rang the bell and heard someone shout that they'll be right up. After about 20 min I peeked through the mail drop off window and saw three guys standing around looking at their phones.
I have been home all day waiting for a package that I scheduled for yesterday and they come today. No one knocked on my door for a signature. I go to my mailbox to find a final notice in it. Thanks for doing nothing to ensure I received it. I am sitting here trying to get ahold of someone and no one is answering the phone. Someone hung up on me and then just let the phone ring twice. You’re worthless. Thanks for nothing.
Edit: it gets better. I finally get through and tell them what happened. They write on my package that it will be picked up 9/24/22. Ok. My husband goes to pick it up and they say “it isn’t here. We don’t have it. ” THEY CAN’T FIND THE PCKAGE THEY WROTE ON!
Handed my package to the substitute mailman o my route yesterday. It is still not scanned into the system nor is the package he took today. Seriously? Give me back my regular mailman who actually cares about his job and doing it right!
Hours are pretty impossible as they are; I managed to get there during my half hour lunch to find they had closed a few minutes before their 1 hour lunch today (9/16/22). I wonder who manages the place, but they should up their game considering everything is so much more efficient and better customer service at alternative shipping places.
Absolutely waste of time! I spent 20 minutes in line outside (only one person can enter at the time), then when it was my turn no one was at the gate for another 4 minutes and finally he said they were out of postal forms! Avoid this office!
I had temporary mail forwarding set up to May 31st. All my mail in the month of June was returned to senders w/ no explanation. When I went to inquire at this USPS location on Lake Murray Blvd, they said they have no access to any database or any information about me, my address, or anything else. So much wasted time!
This office is awful. Used to get my mail by 9am and now it's not uncommon for days to go by before they deliver. I watched the carrier deliver to one side of our street and skip ours. I called to complain and was told that it's not possible. Sir I WATCHED it happen.
Worst post office in San Diego. They always seem to be closed. They open at 10am and only open until 4pm. But then it's closed from 1pm-2pm!? Always waste my time at this one. They also never bother to deliver the packages. They say attempt but they never try too. For being such a big building there is very little space inside for customers and don't seem to care about anything.
Got there at 9: 55 am, was suppose to open at 10: 00 am. I left at 10: 30 am, no one ever showed up to open. Typical Government employees.
Richard is very rude. He is rude to customers and also noticed he is rude to his employees. I dont understand how he is a manager. He is supposed to encourage his team not bring them down. Maybe this explains the bad reviews left for mail carriers on here. Richard please humble yourself and work on your customer service something needs to be done!
I understand the Post Office is going through a tough time due to the pandemic and I truly appreciate their efforts. What I don't appreciate is their losing two packages. Each time, Informed Delivery reported the packages were delivered, but sadly it was not to us. The manager believes the key was put into someone else's mail box and the key recipient wasn't honest enough to correct the error. Not only am I sad because the packages are lost, but since I didn't purchase insurance, I can't put in a claim.
Again, I understand the workload the Post Office is under, but I'm out of two packages.
Instead of forwarding my mail, the mail carrier threw it away according to tracking information. HOW IS THIS LEGAL?
I ordered two things on amazon, and when it said delivered, it wasn't at my door. I checked my mailbox and they gave me a redelivery request that had already been filled out so I could not ask for a redelivery. These packages are marked as delivered. I will update if I get these packages but amazon said they would not give me a refund.
They regularly lose mail and mark packages as delivered without bothering to deliver the package. When I went to day to find out what happened, they simply told me my package had been delivered and asked me to leave. I watched the mail carrier deliver my mail. There was no package.
I had to stand in line for 2 hours to ship a package, 4 people were in front of me. Terrible service, it was super slow, 0/10 would not recommend.
Rude staff gave me attitude as soon as I walked in the door. Absolutely awful, avoid at all cost.
Very poor customer service. Staff is rude, uncooperative and unknowledgeable. I had rescheduled a delivery and called to check status, the rude worker told me they would not drop off at the door of my apartment complex (even though there is the option during the rescheduling process) and lo and behold.they delivered to my door.
Overall, the staff is what is killing this place.
