They send back so many packages and make it so difficult for everything. There’s one sweet old worker who I feel bad for has to work with the rest of the miserable people working there.

This branch evidently gave my package to someone else.who is not me? I went to check my po box today for a package. It wasn't there so I came home and entered the tracking number. It says that the recipient picked it up yesterday. I never went to the post office yesterday and it wasn't there today. I've had more problems with this post office in the 4 years I have lived in South Lake than in the 10 other years of adult life that I have lived in other places. With so many people in town needing good paying jobs, this branch needs to consider hiring some competent employees.

Worst most incompetent post office in the known universe. We need a private sector mail service in Tahoe. Tracking on 3 packages that say they are there ready for pickup and they say there are no packages for me. Countless issues since I’ve moved to Tahoe 4 years ago with this post office. Sometimes it says package not deliverable and they send it back to sender without ever attempting to deliver it. I live a block away… Tahoe deserves better.

They my lost package, and won’t do anything about it.they made an “attempted delivery” of a package that was already supposed to have been delivered several days before hand, after which there were no other attempted deliveries.after almost two weeks I went in to see if I could pick it up.they told me there was no package and they wouldn’t bother helping me investigate what had happened to it.your only job is to handle people’s possessions.things that might have incredible value. I have gotten used to thing running (very) late here but completely losing track of my items is TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE.

They were short handed today, probably because of the snow storm. Hopefully they will be at work tomorrow.

This post office ignores mail redirection requests and the carrier knowingly mis-delivers mail to the old address and the post office could not care less. I have submitted multiple enquiries via USPS to get this corrected and SLT just ignore it. In 5 months, not a single piece of mail has been correctly redirected. This is also not an isolated case, previous redirections in town when I moved residences were ignored and I was also receiving mail at my house for the owners which I know had a mail hold (and this was ignored by the carrier). I don't know why this continues to be acceptable 'service'.

The worst mailing service I’ve seen in my lifetime. The personnel is extremely rude and unhelpful and not only that, you complete their pointless documents so they are able to catch your mail and guess what? They lose it. They are rude and incompetent and if you do not want to have unnecessary problems, avoid them
