United States Postal Service reviews
21I brought envelopes from work to mail out and get receipts. The guy that “helped” me named Parbhu wouldn’t let me use my company card, told me I had to get back in line after every 10 envelopes, and was super condescending. Left the building super irritated and grumpy.
The service is pretty bad here. They asked me to put my package in a bigger envelope. Then told me the one I got was for letters. No explanation why it wasn’t suitable, despite my item fitting. When I asked why I couldn’t use it they just repeated the stock statement. I asked if they could tape it for security; they said I had to buy the tape and do it myself. This experience is pretty typical of my visits to USPS. The people serving you aren’t interested in helping, only doing their job. Service is so much better at delivery businesses like FedEx and UPS.
This location absolutely has the worst customer service I’ve ever dealt with. Waited 2 hrs during this difficult time to get a package they couldn’t locate.
Will NEVER EVER AGAIN have my mail sent anywhere near Santa Monica just to avoid it ending up here.
This is a horrible representation of the USPS.
Horrible post office. They’re an embarrassment. I’d they don’t want to work, let someone who wants a job work instead.
There is zero supervision. They don’t answer their phones. I am constantly getting someone else’s mail. My mail can come as late as 11pm. The carriers complain to the homeowners that there is nothing positive at this Post office. They have found hidden mail in the corners of their office.left undelivered
Seriously?
Feels and looks like the stepsister of the DMV. It’s not the location that’s awful it’s the employees, sadly. I prefer to go to the location on exposition in WLA.
I'm sure a lot of people have normal issues that come with government necessities like the Post Office or DMV, but I just had the absolute easiest time renewing my passport, getting a new photo, making sure everything was submitted correctly, and a money order. I probably shouldn't say this, but I also did this with no appointment. I waited all of 15 seconds.
If you need a fast delivery service, please go somewhere else. Otherwise, it will take like forever for your package to be delivered.
Worst USPS ever, the people (if they can be called that) working there are rude, and no one seems to care. There is a much better branch on Wilshire!
We were in line they escaped us just because I was forgotten to write my son security number for passport just an excuse to help the Spanish person behind us that they appointment was 15 minutes later and we were waiting for that 45 minutes
Worst place to get your passport! It really doesn’t matter at what tome you have your appointment, they will help you when they feel like it. No use to complaint either.
Postal Box service was very poor in the past and I have had items that were mailed to me come up missing.
It’s absolutely unbelievable how the people working there are incompetent and rude! I was waiting for a package from France and I only found out today that they tried to deliver it on April 19 without leaving me any notice to let me know where the package was. I would have kept waiting for weeks for this package if I did not check the tracking number. I was able to found out that they had it and when I went there, the old lady who takes care of the packages was rude and unhelpful. She doesn’t even talk English properly. I was looking for the tracking number on my phone and she repeatedly took my phone from my hands! I found out that they sent it back the package to France today without even trying to contact me!
So unprofessional! No wonder why everyone is giving only 1 star to this place!
USPS, its time to rehire employees who are more competent!
Be careful when using USPS. They fake confirmed my package being delivered at Santa Monica Mailboxes and More. The driver scanned that it was delivered at that location when it was closed. We put in 2 request to find the package with no luck. A claim was made and it will not be covered since there was no insurance. Shipping with USPS is like playing Russian Rollete.
The WORST costumer service EVER, the employees in this place look like they HATE their jobs and the costumers. It’s a TERRIBLE experience every single time I have to go there
.
Zero stars here - RUDE and cannot speak English on top of it - If you can take your passport renewal someplace else - they would rather no have customers! In my humble opinion! P.s. I think they even gave me such a brush off but the information was wrong. NO ONE ANSWERS THE PHONE!
I would rate minus if u could. Stood in line for 45 mins yesterday and ended up having to leave. Today is not much better. One week before Christmas and there are two people at the window! No parking and slow service. Nightmare of a place. Don't come here unless you really really have to!
Have an online 9am passport appointment. Arrive at 9am only to be told the passport office only opens at 9.30. So why allow 9am appointments. Even for the post office this one is bad!
Rude, unhelpful, and methodically slow. Unfortunately, this description applies to virtually every employee I've interacted with (over a two-year period) at this facility. To make matters worse, they do not have basic knowledge of all USPS offerings. The best workaround is to use the kiosk which, unfortunately, only works for select domestic delivery options. The staff on Wilshire is better, but the parking and lines are challenging there.
Terrible service. Incompetent mail carriers. They'll lose your item and you will waste your time trying to find your lost package. Maybe you'll get lucky and someone on the next block will deliver it to your door for you after it was wrongly delivered to their house. Maybe.
If Hell on Earth exists, this would be it. On multiple occasions, I have been told to go to this office to pick up a package, only to be told it's "out for delivery" or "missing". When I begin to provide evidence they simply say "You're taking up my lunch" and walk away from the front desk.
Terrible employees working at a terrible company.
