Dr. Tu was absolutely knowledgeable and great at his job. My foot surgery was amazing done in the same day felt no pain very sweet very nice all about his clients, parking was easy to find and the staff was amazing I would recommend this place to anyone who has foot problems toe problems you found the right doctor.

There is no parking near by had to hobble across a block to get here. They are nestled in an eye clinic it is very confusing. The VA should not send us here. I hope that I actually get care for my feet I am in so much pain and have waiting a month for my appointment. They close for lunch and don't have anyone to answer the phone. Expect to sit in an eyeglasses waiting room. No parking. Can't stress that enough.

Dr Tu performed my heel and Achilles tendon repair in Nov 2022. I highly recommend him. He is thorough, patient and understanding of his patients’ needs. I felt confident going into the surgery and Dr Tu set my expectations throughout. He serves 3 communities in San Diego and I am very satisfied with the results of my surgery.

I have been going to Dr. Tu's office for some time now, and am pleased to have finally found a foot and ankle specialist that I can trust.

Dr. Tu handled my ankle surgery at Sharp Coronado, which is a great facility and received awesome care. Thank you and your team Dr. Tu, for the surgery, and for all the follow up calls to make sure I'm good.

UPDATE 05/2023. Review above was around the week of my surgery in 2016. I have not fully recovered since due to poor care and it is 2023. I have not been able to run or walk right since 2016 surgery from Dr Tu. Circulation problems, nerve problems, chronic pain.

My surgery was paid for by the US Army in 2016. Very shortly after my surgery, the US Army took the money back from Dr. Tu, he did not fill out the forms right, and they wanted him to correct it and return the paperwork. He did not want to re do the paperwork, and chose instead to try and bill me after the fact. I told him I don’t have $20,000+ for the surgery and the US Army is going to pay for it, just fill the paperwork out the way they want. He refused, and after that day he refused service, and put me into collections. He took my cast off too early because he thought I was another patient, then it caused an infection. Then he black listed me and denied any care or follow up on my surgery he performed. I did not have a doctor to go to while I was recovering (less than a month from surgery he abandons me). From 2016 to now, my ankle had been worse than it’s ever been. I do not recommend Dr Tu for his shady practices. I have a lawyer that is reviewing all paperwork and claims that I have, every doctor I’ve had at Scripps, podiatrist, etc.said Dr Tu was not supposed to abandon my treatment, just because the Army took back what they paid. They said that seemed fishy on his behalf, and can jeopardize his license.

I was there less than 20 minutes for my ingrown nail procedure. Doctor Tu made it very quick with little to no pain. I highly recommend!

Lovely doctor, very caring. I have taken my mom to Dr. Tu for many years now, and every time he makes sure the treatments are appropriate. I am impressed by the coordination and attention they give to my mom.

I love the customer service of the girls at the front desk who are very friendly and kind, the doctor is super friendly and communicative, I always wanted to do my job on my feet and the doctor made me feel special, really comfortable, the result are amazing and I am very happy with my feet, I no longer have pain and I'm just waiting to buy myself some new high hills, Thank you for your attention and your wonderful work, I would recommend you a thousand times.
