UOVO Santa Monica

I placed an order for two plates of pasta at 5: 30pm. I was told 20 minutes and by 6: 30p there was no pasta in hand. The restaurant was not full when I arrived. Please talk to Dec 3rd dinner service host and tall boy working at the front who said he would bring the order out. Who knows what the story is cause I was offered no apology. I have been here multiple times cause yes the pasta was good. Will get my money back 2 business days depending on my bank. No receipt offered to confirm. When did the staff turn into bots? Ok I guess

Genuinely the best pasta I've ever had in my life. They import the pasta from Italy overnight, so everything tastes really fresh. Pasta is cooked al dente. They also have a tasting menu where you can try different pastas if you don't want to take a bet on just one, and includes an appetizer and dessert. Everything was so delicious. Service was awesome. Highly highly recommend.

Loved everything.the food was perfectly cooked, our waiter was extremely kind, and our table was outside which was pleasant.the only downside was the waiting time for a table.

Don’t go here! We’re all still hungry the portions are super small and the staff is unfriendly. So you pay alot and won’t even get a good service. On top of everything the pasta (Amatricana) wasn’t even like it’s supposed to taste like.it’s an insult against Italians

This is hands-down probably my favorite pasta restaurant I’ve ever been to. This was one of my boyfriend’s and my favorite spots (before we moved) to go for genuine, Italian style pasta dishes. The ingredients that top each dish are impeccable. All in all, this is such a good place to visit. All of the staff is incredible and attentive as well.

Super-duper. Freshly cooked in front of the guests. Very good taste and I found the staff very friendly. He refused a tip on the grounds: "You'd better come back and spend the money on your next visit! " I found that unusual, but nice.

The are proudly serving PASTA! And they take it seriously. They make good home-made pasta that is good. And they cannot take any modification because they are confident of their quality.

The pastas are great! Tend to be tasty and salty. I enjoy the athmosphere and the service is enjoyable!

They also have varies of white and red wines. I think most of them italians. Many good choice

The BEST pasta I’ve ever had! The service was great, the ambiance was so lux, & it was so cool to watch them make the food in front of you! Get the tiramisu! Such an incredible dining experience.

I am so lucky to find this place. Many restaurants in NY have fresh pasta, but the pasta I had was totally different and the best ever in my life! I usually don't like the texture of fresh pasta as it is usually very heavy, but this place did some magic and it is just perfect.

What a spectacularly delicious place! I visit Santa Monica every three months for business and I’m always on the hunt for a great restaurant. The beef tartare was one of the best I’ve had in a very long time. We tried three different pastas, and they were all excellent. The noodles were so fresh and light. The service was top-notch with super friendly, and helpful staff. I will definitely be back!

I ordered the Amatriciana and Chianti. I couldn't be more pleased unless I was in Italy. Very true to style over there, the cacio e pepe looks incredible as well and I very nearly ordered a second portion. Speaking of, the portions are a bit smaller i.e high quality but most likely no leftovers. There is nothing wrong with that at all, especially with how delicious my meal was. I will be back

Pretty laid back atmosphere, no need to get fancy. Seems like they have a few patio seats as well. Love love love!

We visited Uovo upon recommendation all the way from Australia! So glad we did, tasting menu was amazing! The manager’s service was top class along with all the other staff! Atmosphere felt like we were in a different world.very happy we waited the 30 minutes to be seated, very popular place - we now understand why…

After hearing so much about this place we finally came to eat something and I must say that what we heard around wasn't just words. We drank a glass of wine and ate something and the only word that comes to me spontaneously is. Quality!

We had the most amazing night, GREAT FOOD and a Fantastic HOST.

A pasta bar where you can enjoy authentic Italian pasta. This restaurant is irresistible for pasta lovers, as there are courses with three types of pasta. It's reasonably priced but has a great location and atmosphere. The ragu in particular was exquisite. This is an Italian pasta that suits the Japanese palate. Even if you don't have good memories of pasta in America, give it a try.

Perfect, intrigued by the reviews we came twice. Fantastic place, exceptional pasta (we ate tagliatelle with meat sauce, amatriciana, tomato sauce and lasagna.
What to say? If you really want pasta like in Italy you can't miss it.
