Great place to stop for dessert especially if you like sweet toasts! They have all kinds of toppings to fit any preference and the toast is big, warm and fluffy. They also have a variety of drinks and other goodies.

Order churros with Nutella and oreos, ordered a waffle with jam and graham cracker on top.

My churros was cold and hard. The puff waffle with jam and graham cracker was very dry.

(I do not recommend creating your own.) I do not recommend churros here or the puff waffle.

We should have just just order what is popular on the menu.

A true San Diego gem! When your in the mood for something sweet, consider stopping by this hip Vietnamese cafe.

Although they are utterly busy most of the time, their service is speedy & food is flavorful at best.

Place got some very good dessert and drinks. Lines and wait appear longer but the wait isn't that bad. The ice cream and bread are pretty standard, but combined together, it's a hit.

We love Vietnamese coffee and do this at home but this is the first time we’ve seen Vietnamese coffee float on a menu. That was a must try and it didn’t disappoint. Yummy! Next we tried the Honey toast with a few variety of toppings and it was pleasantly simple but yummy. Who knew toast would be great as a dessert? The café has a nice ambience. It’s definitely a cute spot to hang out, indoors and outdoors seating, or if you want to grab a quick treat when you’re out and about.

Nice atmosphere, the customer service is a bit.interesting? They'll tell you one thing, and then change it up on you! (Flavors offered in this case, they said they had mocha, but once we ordered it, they said they didn't offer it anymore? ‍️
They also played the same Taylor Swift song for 15+ mins until I brought it up, then they thankfully changed it.
The desserts are definitely worth it, crepes are tasty, so are the drinks

Adorable, youthful vibe. I like the patio with sails for shading and market lights at night. You have a sweet tooth? Here's an ice cream and dessert place with drinks to accompany!

Super cute cafe! I love the vibe here. They did an amazing job decorating. It’s pretty clean. They have an outside area to sit as well as seating inside. Once you order, you are given a little buzzer that notifies you of when your order is ready. They have public bathrooms which is nice and the man who took our order was nice. I got a brownie pie with a scoop of ice cream on it and my husband got a cold mocha drink? He said it was good but a little sweet for his taste. He likes his coffee drinks to not be super sweet. I thought it was yummy! But I have a major sweet tooth haha. We stayed and did some school work inside. All in all, I will be coming back here for sure. Sooooo cute

Got a mango smoothie and a winter melon milk tea. The fruit in the smoothie was still frozen and it looked like it wasn't blended very well

One of my favorite dessert spots in the area. Their Honey Toast is one of my favorites! I did learn I prefer the regular Honey Toast vs the Lava version. Didn't care as much for that. Place could be a little cleaner but that could be tough as it seems every time I go there there's only 1-2 employees working. Parking and seating can be tough at times but overall that's probably a good sign the place is good

We were there last night, they closed late. Full of people. We ordered Thai Tea Crepe Cake and Sweet Crepe with Nutella and banana. To be honest, totally disappointed!
The cake was tasteless, the cream was blunt, as if it was made few days ago. As for the sweet crepe, it was very hard. I'm a crepe lover, but I finally can't finish it and throw it away

Not the friendliest staff. Item not sold as described on the menu, be very specific! When I asked about my order, the staff told me I ordered it wrong instead of fixing it. I do not recommend.

Went in this afternoon for the first time since the pandemic. They’ve got a nice outdoor seating area. Got the coffee milk tea and it tastes much better than the one at Kung Fu tea. Staff was friendly and my drink was ready in about 2 minutes. I will definitely be coming back soon!

This is my 4th time here and it will be my last. I understand it’s a popular food and boba spot, and for this reason you would think that the owners would have a system in place to serve their long line of customers. They should have two separate lines for pick up and to place an order. I placed on online order so that my drinks/dessert would be ready by the time I arrived. I received an email confirmation at 8: 35 notifying me that my order was ready. We arrived at 8: 25 (before we even received a “your order is ready” confirmation email) and they asked my boyfriend to wait in the “place an order” line which placed him behind 12 customers waiting to place their initial order. I kid you not, my boyfriend waited in line and he did not pick up our order until 9: 15 even though he got in line at 8: 25 and we received our email confirmation at 8: 35! By this time, my drinks had been sitting out for a while and my brownie was cold and hard as a rock! I had to come home and place it in the microwave for a minute for it to soften up and it was not worth it at all. I ended up throwing it away because the edges were still hard. This place is a waste of time and money and although I hate leaving bad reviews for small businesses, especially during these difficult times, I just feel that the owners should have set a system in place by now. This happens every single time and they ask u to wait in line despite having ordered online to avoid the wait times. It doesn’t make sense. They’ve been open for years and they still haven’t figured a system out. If they cannot handle the amount of orders or accommodate their number of customers/online orders, then DO NOT have an online ordering option, especially if you do not have two separate lines to order and pick up.

I really wanted to love this place. Unfortunately the mochi custard cake was so dry it was really not good. The puff waffle was very good and the honey toast was pretty good as well.

If it was Up2Me, I would not recommend any of the desserts or drinks at Up2You Cafe. Despite being surrounded by dessert and boba places, it's amazing how this place can even stay in business, especially when they are serving sub-par "puffle waffles" and "boba".

The first time I tried to make an online order for a "puffle waffle", they cancelled my order even though the order was placed 10 minutes before their last call, which is 10: 30pm.

The second time I made an online order, I was even more disappointed than the first time. I ordered a "puffle waffle" with green tea ice cream and Mochi. I went to pick up the order and the girl working at the counter DROPPED my order as she was taking it out from behind the counter. She didn't even apologize and just picked it up and handed it to me. My disappointment didn't end there. When I opened the box, I discovered that they didn't give me any green tea ice cream, even though I paid extra for it. In the end, I was left with a sad, soggy, disheveled "puffle" that had multi-colored old soggy mochi bites randomly sitting on top of some whipped cream.

Needless to say, I will never be back to up2you cafe. There are countless better dessert options in San Diego to eat at.

The place where your sweet tooth goes to run free through the fields of sugar and uses the bathroom where it pleases.

This month has been wacky for me brain. The place is neat, good desserts with lots options to create a unique dish that mirrors your taste in Instagram posts.
