Everyone is great! 100% recommend. I never liked going to the dentist, but this is the exception

I've now had two visits at Uptown Dental and I am beyond pleased and impressed with my experiences there. The staff is friendly and helpful and Dr. Thomas is patient, kind, efficient, and highly competent. I especially appreciate that Dr. Thomas walks you through his exam findings with images and clearly explains his care recommendations. This provides a degree of transparency that I've never before experienced at any other dental office and it is very helpful and deeply appreciated.

Dr. Thomas is the best! He is excellent at what he does and has great bedside manners. I had 3 fillings placed and the process was so easy. His staff is very responsive, nice, and helpful. If you want a stress-free dental experience, I would 100% recommend Dr. Thomas.:)

Terrific dentist and staff! Always very friendly, thorough and efficient and has the best office music! Conveniently located right out of the Telegraph Ave. 19th Street Bart station.

Dr Thomas is great! Very personable and friendly and knows what he’s doing work wise. Always know I’m going to have great service. His staff are friendly and helpful also.

First time at this office. Liked the friendly environment, professional and attentive staff, the DDS being active in both front desk/admin tasks and dental tasks felt like a plus. Non-intimidating and comfortable bedside manner. Would recommend.
May update after next series of appts, but feel like it likely will hold up to this review.

Dr Thomas is so knowledgeable and skilled. He is kind, gentle and keeps you informed about what he is doing throughout the procedure. I’m so glad I was lucky enough to find him after moving to Oakland.

Been going for years and without a doubt both the gentlest and most thorough dentist I've ever been to. Plus dentist does the cleanings!

Great dentist! Never thought I’d write a 5 star dentistry review but here I am - Dr Christopher is super nice, v professional and v efficient with appointments, and the rest of the staff is always very friendly.

Like everyone said in common are true. Dr Thomas is the best dentist. He is very knowledgeable, give you the great structure be for he does the job. I am so happy seen I found him 3 year ago. Thank you for his hard work.

It was awesome. I had a 1: 45pm appt and Doc got started on me at 1: 45. He was thorough and gentle and I was out in less than a half hour!

Dr. Chris is very kind and patient. He explains what’s going on and provides clear treatment options. I used to live walking distance from the office and came for the convenience. Now, we live some distance away but my wife and I still go out of our way to stay with Dr. Chris.

Nothing but great professional people. Had terrible experiences with dentists in the past. This is a great office with people who are friendly and thorough. Definitely recommend Dr. Thomas and the team there.

Great service and high attention to detail! I've been seeing Dr. Thomas for about a year now, and he's a great dentist. He's extremely knowledgeable and answers questions very thoughtfully. I'm glad to have finally found a dentist in my neighborhood!

Just finished a two year dental journey with Dr. Thomas and it’s been the best dentist experience I’ve ever had! I used to avoid dentists due to my past dentists’ judgmental natures when it came to dental care.

Dr. Thomas made me feel safe, and is just generally a nice person.

His team is real good at what they do, and I’m stoked to continue visiting for routine cleanings in the future.

I highly recommend Dr. Thomas and his office! I went to Dr. Thomas' office for a number of years until I moved away from the Bay Area. He and his staff were always kind and respectful, thorough, and gentle in their treatment of me. The staff are very responsive (in person, over email, phone) and helpful in dealing with insurance and payment. Dr. Thomas himself was so great - he was gentle and thorough. He explained everything in detail each time. I appreciated his dental care and he took really good care of my teeth! I also appreciated that starting in 2020, they were very COVID conscious, which helped me feel comfortable about going to see them. I honestly miss this office a lot and wish I could still go. Dr. Thomas and co, y'all are great!
