Uptown Fullerton Apartment Homes

**READ BEFORE MOVING IN**

We initially had a positive experience moving in. The units themselves are modern and recently renovated and some of the nicest in the area. We overlooked the minor inconveniences, like how hard it is to actually move your belongings in because there is nowhere close enough you can park to unload. You are only assigned one parking and visitor parking is scarce, especially with other residents use the visitor parking as a storage for cars they never move. Now some of the visitor parking spaces are occupied by old disgusting furniture. After living here for 6 months our experience has turned towards negative. I had seen previous reviews of car break-ins but felt something must have changed since the reviews weren't very recent so we decided to give Uptown a chance. Recently one of our vehicles was broken into along with 2 others parked nearby. The office directed us to file a police report and contact our insurance but provided no other form of help. We asked to be provided a second assigned parking spot since we no longer feel comfortable leaving either of our cars in any of the visitor parking with no cameras facing the cars. The only option we were given was to PAY for additional parking. Security on site is trash, my boyfriend leaves for work very early sometimes (2 am-5 am) and has never seen anyone patrolling. I have been in the gym at 5 am and saw the security guard walk in wearing slippers! Aside from the security issue we have complained about the neighbor slamming the door back to back intentionally, the woman in the office was very nice and listened to our concern but the issue has only worsened and we just have to live with it. There are definitely not enough washers and dryers for the number of residents and sometimes machines will be broken for days at a time. I tried to contact someone from the property management AMC and received no response. I truly don't understand how with a pattern spanning over 10 years of the same security issues they have not found a solution. How hard is it to install cameras and hire competent security in order to protect the residents on THEIR property? This is not a bad area, I've lived in areas way worse and never had to deal with this. Positive stars for the maintenance workers, they are friendly, and grills and other amenities are always clean. It hasn't been a very "Live Happy" experience recently.

Great experience living at uptown Fullerton apartments and working with Jayda. She’s very helpful and works miracles.

My apartment was recently upgraded with hardwood flooring. Great experience working with jimmy as well.

Maintenance guy Pepe is extremely helpful and attentive to all our needs. He goes above and beyond.

The amenities are awesome, would definitely recommend if you’re looking to rent in the Fullerton area.
