I recommend botox for your TMJ (jaw) if you clench, get migraines and want some pain relief. After just one TMJ botox treatment, I haven't gotten a migraine and my quality of life has improved. Jessica Kim, dentist at Urban Dental, took care of me and I couldn't recommend her more.

The best dental office I have ever visited!

I’ve suffered from TMJ for several years and have tried so many different methods to decrease the pain. In 2021 I decided to visit Dr. Kim at Urban Dental for Botox injections as a last ditch effort to get some relief. Dr. Kim was so kind and completely understood how much the TMJ had been impacting my life. After receiving injections on both sides of my jaw, I headed home and was shocked at how much better I felt only a few hours later. It was pretty life changing since the pain had gotten so bad I had pretty much been on a liquid diet because I couldn’t chew without being in excruciating pain. If you suffer from TMJ, please consider visiting Dr. Kim - it will change your life. The staff at Urban Dental are all incredibly friendly, and I am so thankful that I found such a caring team.

My experience with the hygienist was excellent.
My experience with the dentist not so much. Dr. Kim knocked her metal tools energetically against several of my teeth, so much so that I felt concerned about her breaking some of them. She stopped only when I complained.

Dr. Kim is great the best dentist I've ever gone to see. She spent her time on a problem tooth that other dentist were willing to give up on or tried to pull. She gives her best and it's a gift to anyone who is her patient. She not only knew my tooth could be saved but she spent hours making it better than my original. Go see her.

If you are looking for a dentist it's so easy to say Dr. Kim and Staff are the best, but listen to this as it reflects the depth of their caring for their patients! With COVID, after one year of being closed, the company that provides our medical and dental coverage was finally dropping insurance coverage after a year of them keeping our coverage even while being shut down (it was really wonderful that they carried us for the year). Our daughter needed some pretty extensive work done but now we had a deadline for when coverage would stop. Our family has been with Urban Dental for many years and when I got a call from Dr. Kim herself telling me that we were family to her and that she would combine our daugter's treatments to meet the deadline for the end of our insurance coverage. And they did! Our daughter even went 3-straight days with Dr. Kim and Staff to finish before the deadline. They did this compounding their work load. So if you're looking for a family dentist then consider becoming part of Dr. Kim's family!
