Urban Skillet reviews
14 Delicious and super fresh!
One of the best places I have ever tried. I couldn’t resist trying three mouthwatering elements of the menu and didn’t regret it. Very highly recommended if you’ve ever been to LA and looking for delicious Halal meat!
Visiting LA, second time trying this place and it hits the spot. Best burgers and service. I wish they had locations in southern states.
If you’re in LAX you have to try this place. It’s halal. Best burgers and wings. Even their hot dog is amazing.
Heard good reviews about this place. Menu is halal. Ordered the Brisket Burger. Burger was really good, brisket was cooked well and was very soft.
Great burgers, convenient location. Tried the truffle burger. If destiny brings me here again, I'd love this try the southern style BBQ burger as it's getting a lot of praise.
I made my order with a friend at the same time take go and we waited more than 30 minutes then my friend he got his order and me after 10 minutes but they was trying to find one table for my order.
They was lost, the people working there they are not kind.
Unfortunately I don’t recommend the service because goods hamburger you can find anywhere but a great behavior and be kind you can’t find anywhere.
The brisket burger was so juicy and mouth watering. We also had the Truffle and soho the beef was not dry and the size was perfect
The cheese fries were good too.
Halal good place
Small and cozy restaurant. Ordred the macncheese burger and sweet potato fries.
Burger was amazing, well seasoned beef, and the fried onion ring + macncheese was an added flavour bomb.
Sweet potatoe fries were really great as well. Well seasoned and the house sauce they added made it taste even better.
Definitely a spot id come to again whenever i travel to LA again.
The food was really good. It was seasoned just right. Unfortunately the fries tasted like McCain frozen french fries. They were still pretty good. This is one of the most recommended halal spots in LA so I had to come here.
This is great place for lunch or gathering. The Place is spacious and excellent customer service. I will be returning for another try or different item on the menu.
There is a halal sign posted on the entrance and on the digital display. Verbally verified as well. They have beyond burger as well. Taste is good though price is average as in Hollywood city. Burgers are really juicy made our hands dirty with the sauce but worth it a try. Nice dining area as well. There is a metered street parking and off course Hollywood is always crowded so hard to find a spot in rush hours.
Good burger. Tasty but the meat neeed more spices IMO. We tried it during our trip in LA.
The dinning area is nice. Price is fair as well. Halal as well
Amazing food, the quantity is worth the price, burgers have 2 meat and hotdogs have 2 wieners, worth it!
UPDATE: Doordash reached out to the restaurant to initiate a refund request and said I would hear from the restaurant within 2 days. A week later, still no contact. No guarantee you'll get your food and no guarantee you'll be reimbursed if it doesn't arrive.
ORIGINAL REVIEW: The food was pretty good. Fries were excellent and the burger was above average (except for the overly wilted lettuce I had to remove).
The real frustration was in the delivery experience. I ordered directly from their website and my order arrived missing an item. I called Urban Skillet, and after informing them, they told me they'd call me back. They called me back 5 minutes later to say that the issue was with their Doordash courier and that I'd have to call Doordash to get a resolution.
After being transferred to two different Doordash representatives, was told that Urban Skillet would have to process the refund since they collected my payment. Doordash tried to call Urban Skillet to get an answer, but they didn't answer. So they sent a refund request and we'll see if I get a refund.
I went through Urban Skillet's website to avoid fees and help them out, but at the end of the day, it became a big headache for me just to get $7 refunded. Felt like everyone just kept passing the buck and I was the one left stuck on calls. Instead of eating dinner, I spent over an hour trying to get this sorted out and still might not get a resolution. Super bummed that Urban Skillet doesn't stand by the delivery services integrated into their website. I hate that ordering from third party services takes a huge chunk from restaurant revenues, but at least it ensures an adequate customer service when things go wrong
