Anne really knows how to cut Asian hair-she is the only person I have been to who can give me voluminous and noticeable layers without it looking stringy, and the price is amazing! $65 for a ladies haircut (before tip) in San Francisco is less than half what I was paying in Palo Alto, so Anne is now my go-to hair stylist!
Ann is a fantastic stylist and person; not only does she have a good technique, but she is a good listener and very flexible. Also, if you're looking to dye your hair, she has a very good eye for color mixing. If you haven't been around in a while, the place has been refreshed and looks really nice.
I booked for a full highlights but when I got there Ann
said that because of my haircut style I don't need full highlights and partial would do. Also I asked if she can trim my hair a bit and she said that hair looks healthy and this length is very good right now and no haircut needed and to come back in 2 months time. I have never been to a more reasonable and honest hairdresser in the city. Finally I have found my go to salon.very reasonably priced. Highly recommend.
Got a great haircut here, was able to get in quickly and a week later I'm feeling great about it! Anne was great, thanks and I look forward to this being my new spot.
Anne is an amazing stylist, and a wonderful insightful person. My sister has been going to her for years. My daughter and I made the trip from the East Bay to have our hair done by Anne and we are so pleased with our cuts! She has an amazing gift, she instinctively knows what style looks best for each individual. She is also so easy to talk to. Can't say enough great things about Anne.she is a gem.
