Edited Review: The taco fillings that were so awful the last time I reviewed have improved to what they used to be but on this visit we decided to just order one taco each to make sure. We asked for one hot sauce each for our tacos. Small little containers, just barely enough salsa for one taco. When I saw the taco filling was the same as we had previously loved, I went back and ordered 2 more. And asked for another small container of hot sauce for each taco. And was refused. I said I would pay for it. And was refused. I was told I can only have one hot sauce. No matter how many tacos I order! So I didn't purchase 2 more tacos. A taco place that won't let you have hot sauce for your tacos? Are you friggin' kidding me!? I talked to someone in charge after finishing eating my 1st taco & she told me you can only have one hot sauce with a small order. (4 tacos is apparently considered a small order!) But I could buy an extra hot sauce. Didn't bother to ask how much. We won't be back. If I have to beg for a meager amount of salsa at a taco shop, these people need to be in a different business. There are better taco places than this where the salsa is free. Also taking off a star from my last review where I gave 3 stars, since I wasted my time coming over here.

OLDER REVIEW: If I had reviewed this place a week ago I would have given 5 stars. But.they have this taco, San Antonio Fluffy taco. Amazing, like something I'd make at home. Plain ground beef, with maybe just a hint of seasoning, a little lettuce, a little grated cheese, with the "Fluffy" part being the way they crisp up the tortilla (it actually IS fluffy). Anyway, these things are so good, we figured we found a new go-to restaurant. So good that we actually drive from Camarillo to Simi to get them. Well, so much for that. Today when we had these tacos they came with meat slushed up with sauce & spice to the point it looked like chilie & tasted like Taco Bell. What a disappointment! We asked if they changed the recipe & were told by the cooks that the meat is made up by their sister restaurant next door, the Blue Fin, & they made a mistake. Which got me thinking, how do you make a mistake like that when it's a recipe you invented? And is the taco shop just an afterthought to the main restaurant? The Blue Fin itself has some reviews pointing out its inconsistency in terms of food quality so maybe it's just their pattern. We've only been going here about a month so maybe we just caught them on an upswing. We went 3 or 4 times & had these amazing tacos & on a big screen tv there were relaxing nature scenes. Today we had "fluffy" Taco Bell & a political news channel on the big screen tv. Inconsistency is how you lose customers. And if it keeps up, you will most certainly have lost us.

While the quality of the food is good I must call to action their attention to food allergy's. I told the girl at the front that I'm severely allergic to tomato's and that it cannot be in my San Antonio fluffy taco. I called back after i ate it, after noticing that my throat was hurting. According to the cook in the back room they cook the meat with tomato and didn't disclose that until I called. Most business's would be apologetic offering a customer a new meal or their money back but in this case i got a sorry i didn't know. I took my meds after this and will be ok but Ill have 2 or 3 days of feeling like I have strep throat.in the future they need to be more aware of what is going in the food and what peoples limitation is. I wont be going back!

Tacos were amazing. Went with fish, steak and Asian style. Chips and salsa were warm and very flavorful. Super friendly staff and a very pleasant experience.

Really good food and great service. We’ll definitely be back. Everything we ordered was good. Recommend the Korean taco and fish taco. Picky eater kids devoured beef and birria tacos and described them as “heaven. ”

Amazing food, truly the best Korean tacos I have had in a very long time! We come here often. Unfortunately only giving 3 stars due to the fact that they close so early, right in the middle of dinner time. I’m not sure whose idea it was to close at 7pm but very inconvenient timing. Secondly it always smells like bleach in there.

I tried Urban Taco yesterday for the first time. I wanted street style tacos, and got gourmet tacos. They were good, but were lacking a little more flavor.

Loved the corn tortillas! I didn’t have anything spicy but they have lots of spicy sauces to choose from. Yummy I would come back

Great food! Tacos are sold individually so you'll either want more than 1 or sides. Tacos run $3.95 to $4.50. Burritos & gyros range $9.95-$12.95. San Antonio Fluffy taco special was terrific and my hubby loved the shrimp tacos. We're planning on coming back the next time we're in the area!
