USC Verdugo Hills Hospital Emergency Room, Glendale CA

I’ve been coming to Verdugo hills for many years my children where born there an I’ve had to go to the ER many times for myself and my family.
We have always had the best care and very kind and concerned staff.

I was placed on the area with COVID PATIENTS, AND DIDN'T HAVE COVID - FURIOUS! Will provide details on experience after leaving emergency department.

My mother was admitted to VHH two days ago due to Covid! My experience so far has been very positive!
Everyone is working diligently to help all their patients.

I went to the ER a week ago with some distress breathing. In about 18 hrs they had evaluated and stabilized me and had me in a hospital room. They were giving me anti viral, anti bacterial, anti inflammatory and oxygen. Rest/ sleep on your chest for the best lung recovery.

Needless to say I was nervous about going to an ER in any hospital but knowing one of my options was here took a lot of stress away. I was not let down. From the moment I walked in, to the moment I left I felt safe and confident I made the best choice. I’m grateful for the kindness and concern every individual I dealt with showed me. Thank you.

I had the best ER experience! The doctors, nurses, radiology technician, and all staff that helped me that day were very caring, knowledgeable, helpful, very professional, and nice. This was my first time here, and I will definitely go back if needed. Thank you!

The Doctors and staff are very knowledgeable and they took care of me. I’m very pleased with this Hospital. Everything was on point.

It was great they were super attentive and made sure if I had any questions, even if they didn’t know the answer, they would find out. They accommodated for my needs and made sure that I knew that if I needed ANYTHING to just ask. I really appreciate the staff and hopefully I don’t have anymore but I know where I’m going next time I have a medical emergency.

First time spending a few nights there. Very attentive and helpful with the situation I was in. Last few minutes there were a bit interesting but I’ve heard horror stories of this place. Overall good performance and attitude. I wish I could remember names but my body was not having it the past few days!

I was doing some work in the backyard with my grinder it slipped and cut my arm so I ran to you guys and you fix me up fast.

I was treated very good and my needs were met regardless of the pandemic. I was very scared to go get checked out but had no choice I had fallen 6 times before going to the E. R. When I arrived I was very impressed on how well everyone handled the patients especially the potential Covid patients. The nurses were awesome and did their best to keep me assured that I was in good hands. Im very grateful that I was able to get the help I so desperately needed.

All of the ER personnel was great and very professional. They really care and want the best for you.

I am very unimpressed with the level of service at USC Verdugo Hills Hospital. Within 45 minutes I was diagnosed, given an ultrasound, a Covid test. And admitted for treatment. Staff is very friendly and make you feel like they care about you. Thank You for being here for all of us!

The ER Dr. Michelle was very considerate, professional and knew exactly how to treat my situation, and that's what all hospital ER departments should have, doctors like her and her crew. Thank you for making my visit so comfortable

We live on the east side of Pasadena but we frequent the movie theater across Verdugo Hills Hospital a lot. This is the closest USC hospital to us that has an ER. I didn’t have to wait, was seen right away and in a few hours was admitted to my room. The staff are so great and pleasant here! I would make the drive to avoid the long waits and get better service at same time.
