USCIS District Office reviews
6If you are rushed for time or fail to bring the correct paperwork, then this is not the place for you. My experience was excellent! This is a tightly run ship. From the beginning, the only way to get in is via an appointment letter. The guards won't let you in otherwise.
Worst experience at a government office even worse than DMV. Had a 7: 15 a.m. Appointment by the time I went through security and got to the office it was 7: 30. I waited two hours and wouldn't call my father's name who I was there to accompany. I went to the clerk three times before the supervisor came out and instead of handling the situation was pointing fingers and blamed us 4 not being there on time. She was very aggressive. My father was there for a citizenship interview, he did not pass and when the interviewer came out she announced to everybody that my father had failed. How unethical, disrespectful and unprofessional! Is that customary for them to announce that somebody failed the test?
My appointment was 9: 00am. And I and my husband got there by 8: 40 but there are huge line to get in so we waited about 40min. I don't hate it and I know this is all about safety so every time I come here I don't bring purse or bag just key and documents so I can save some time for bag check:)
But ppl in the building are very nice and kind!
We need to get some proof for our school and went an early morning with my daughter. When one of the employees refused us to give the information we were needed, I politely asked him to call his supervisor. He became very aggressive and started to shout at us very loud! Then his boss came out and he smelled like after a whole drunk night! Horrible people
Im supposed to be a citizen by now but nooo. I was at the interview process and the interviewer told me its the incorrect place! I travel back to this building and told me to go back!
