USCIS Sacramento Field Office reviews
20ONE Immigration Officer for WHOLE Sacramento. You will have to wait in line for at least 2 hours. I’m surprised how US federal government works poorly.
I applied my green card August, 2019 please approve my green card application I humble request to uscis
When we arrived at the office for interview, they told us they have to reschedule the interview because they did not have our file. Anyone else experience the same situation? If so how long do they take to reschedule?
Today I took one of my non speaking English friend to help him with his legal documents so we were standing in a line for couple hours all of a sudden it got windy and one of the sighs fell off, so I decide to go put it back to it's place where there was several non immigrants, after putting it back I came back to the line with my friend and guess what one of the officer came outside with a manner and offered me to go in instead of standing in a line, thank you officers, I fell really proud
A lot of people I waiting in line. You will stay without moving more than 2 hours after start servicing.
I was worried about time and other experience mentioned in the reviews but luckily my experience was exactly opposite. It was very fast process to go through security and to check-in. My interview was scheduled at 12: 30 Pm on Monday and I went through security around 12: 02 Pm. I checked in at 2nd floor around 12: 05 and waited for 25-30 mins before my interview around 12: 40 pm. Friendly security and staff.
Unfortunately the personal here is so rude. They talk to you like an animal. To be honest they don’t deserve even one star, they deserve 0 star.
Unprofessional staff hired by USCIS. Especially, foreigners like Russians interview officers.
Read this if you’re having your Naturalization interview at this office. My appointment time was 1: 15pm. I got there at 12: 45, waited in line until 2: 30 pm to get pass security (not even the USCIS check-in). Then waited another hour after check-in to have my interview. The interview took around 15 minutes and I was out the door by 4pm. It took way too long just to go pass security.
Then the oath ceremony in Roseville was another hot mess. Appointment time was 11: 30, learned my lesson, got there earlier than what the notice allowed. The line was still insanely long. At least it moved faster than the line at USCIS for interview. BRING AN UMBRELLA and WATER with you while waiting in line! I saw one person experiencing heat strokes. 80-90F might not sound bad, but if you’re waiting in line for more than an hour under direct sunlight, it’s terrible. Super slow. Some officers were nice (you’ll be place into smaller groups for the oath), but mine were slow and rude. Just be prepared. Special occasion got ruined, but I am glad it was over.
On the day of getting my citizenship in Roseville California, I had to wait in line for over 3 hours. No explanation or services are available while waiting. Before entering the building, everyone was assigned a number without any explanation. Then groups with different numbers just get randomly pulled in. Groups around me were pulled in multiple times before I was able to go in. Very horrible experience on a day that should have been very special.
No good service to use, because what you can speak with life agent you can’t speak with automatic machine message
Any one with issues you need to write to the senator that covers you in your jurisdiction and tell them about it so they can do something about it more promptly that just venting your issues here is pointless.
It.does help others but these issues are not going to change with their involvement.
So call your representatives please
Oh my goodness. I feel like people need to write a letter to the state and complain because our lives are on hold at this point. Family based appointments are at the back of the line and employment based now is moving faster? How can I be waiting for an interview that was cancelled TWO YEARS AGO! There are so many ways to do this I cannot handle the slowness of this office. This is not okay please reschedule peoples interviews!
The SLOWEST field office in the whole country. It takes two years to adjudicate cases, that’s way too long. Please do something to reduce the processing time, it’s frustrating to see other people who applied after you at other field office getting approved in less than six months while you’re still waiting to get interview date.
I am trying to find information and you cannot go without appointment the chat option doesn’t help and you can’t reach anything but a chat on the phone either. It is impossible to reach a human by phone. The website is useless for my question too
Well it is now January 22 and still no card almost a year. Won’t be upgrading my stars.
The worst experience I have ever had in my life. Rude would be better. I feel ashamed to call my self American today. Standing in front of a federal building with food for a federal employee. Treated like absolute trash by Paul Hodges there ARMED "security" gaurd. I"ll be in on Monday to file a formal complaint.
If you do have to come to this building start recording once entering. I don't care if you can't it's for your own safety. People need to see
I've been waiting for an appointment since April 22,2020, how can an institution be this slow?
Way too slow. What is going on here with the processing like covid already messed it up why are we not getting our cancelled appointments back!
RESCHEDULE INTERVIEWS THAT WERE CANCELLED DUE TO COVID! YOUR PROCESSING TIMES ARE MOVING BACKWARDS!
Too slow with rescheduling interviews! Everyone else is getting approved and scheduled while we did everything by the book and now wont get rescheduled for interviews. Spread the word so uscis can hear us.
