Best experience for immigration office. Parking was tough but there’s parking meters.

I am a tourist here. My daughter was abducted to the US in 2012 (at 2,6 years old) and with the help of the Central Authority (Department of State) we could bring the mother to court the next court day available and obtained an emergency order to command respondent to allow visits until the hearing. I have to go to court after my visa expired. USCIS took care of my application promptly. Before receiving the answer by post mail, I was concerned if I was going be able to attend those hearings in order to set visits with my daughter after 6 years without seen her. This trial is under The Hague Convention on International Parental Child Abduction (IPCA). USCIS help line works Very good. I didn’t event waited a minute on the phone before talking to an advisor. She informed that my visa was accepted. Now, I can plan the rest of my time here and will be able to visit my little daughter when I come to the US again in the future. I am very grateful and happy with your Service with the tourists specially for allowing me to re bond with my 8 years old daughter!
With king regards, Francisco de Mussy

You must book an appointment online, you cannot just show up, they won't see you. If your English is poor like mine and don't have a translator on your phone you can use, go there with an interpreter, you will be glad you did. They don't have much time nor much patience to deal with issues and they don't know much more than what you can see online as far as your application. Security is airport level so be prepared.

Wife had her prints and photograph taken here. The entrance is located on the Wilshire Blvd side. As you enter there is a minor zig zag before you are greeted by a security officer or employee of the location. YOU MUST TURN YOUR CELL PHONE ON SILENT OR TURN OFF. IT'S A FEDERAL BUILDING. DON'T EVEN TRY IT! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED!

In our situation, wife had her appointment and all they required was the letter of the appointment and an ID. We hand them the notice plus ID. They give us a sheet asking for personal information plus a number. Current name, previous names, date of birth, height, and weight is what the document asks.

Wife filled out the requested document. As soon as you quickly but efficiently complete your doc's you are called by your number. The officer or employee reviews that you completed the document. Any company must wait for the applicant in the waiting area.

If you complete the document as required then other employees at the rear ask that you go to them for photographs. Fingerprints are done as well.

After that they ask for you to fill out the survey card. And we were done. Pretty quick. In before five minutes of my wife's appointment out fifteen minutes later.

I can't be any more satisfied with the service I receive as I went in for my prints. I went expecting lines of people, an overcrowded lobby and some annoyed or rude staff but it was the complete opposite. Everyone was very polite from the person that greets you at the front desk til the person who took my prints. I was in and out with the whole process in about 30mins.
