Valencia Hills Community Church

Great Bible-based church full of caring people practicing authentic Christianity. Pastor Dennis exudes the love of God and his preaching is excellent.

This is not a review of the church. This is a review of the Care Ministry. These people are not professionally trained. My experience with a few of these people has been that they immediately "acknowledge" that you are struggling (duh), then begin to read into your situation without listening to your words. They rely on trying to read your body language, combined with a lot of rehearsed words of sympathy. One of the facilitators who lead a "Boundaries" group at another facility is someone I know; she is very interested in trying to set her own boundaries. However, she is not interested in respecting other people's boundaries. My main complaint is that they did not listen to my words.

Awanas is a Great place for the kids for they get to have fun and learn about God's love.

My family have been attending just over a year. We quickly noticed and felt the authenticity of the people we met, the emphasis on teaching God's Word, God uplifting worship, and the importance of reaching outside of the church doors to bring the love and grace of God to others through the many ministries and opportunities to serve.

We like this church, and go there whenever we are visiting my mother-in-law. Paster Denis does a great job of delving into the gospel, and explaining it in layman's terms.

Teaching from God’s word, devout prayers and stirring worship are part of every Sunday service. I am grateful for this church & it’s people.
