Vallarta Supermarkets reviews
19You dont see anyone sanitizing the carts, check out stands and no social distancing at the self checkout. No wipes the touch screens. You can see they aren't keeping there employees nor the community safe.
Large, clean store, had all of the products that was shopping for. Well stocked produce section and meat counter complete with a butcher.
This location is one of the newer ones. Huge parking lot so you won’t have to fight for a spot, the meat counter is new and doesn’t stink, the store itself is bigger with wider aisles and the bulk grains section has more options. There’s even a self-serve tamale cart in the deli section. I only gave it one star less because they have the ac blasting, it’s freezing in there.
Went for lunch. The pico de gallo in the salsa bar was rotten, like 2 days in the hot sun rotten. I told the girl I ordered my food from about it and she gave me a look like she couldn't care less. I found a manager and told her. She removed the pico de gallo but left the other salsas. The problem I see is unless that salsa was actually left out for days the table wasn't keeping all the salsa cold which means it was all going bad. They didn't replace the other salsas and didn't offer me any other way to get salsa to put on the food I bought. I returned my food because it was cold by this time and I don't like eating dry tacos. Wish I had taken a photo of it to put on their photos.
I don't like the customer service of the Valley Glen store. My husband and I went to buy meat for the week, we ask for a desired cut, they wouldn't do it, so we told a manager, who tried to help us, but at the end the butcher didn't want to cut the T-bone we ask for, so we left the store and we went to buy our meat at a different Vallarta.
What a bad customer service! They lost a customer only for a meat cut. We were regular customers at that location. So sad!
This place SUCKS! All Vallartas do. They price items higher then a regular store cuz of EBT customers. They're food are the end cuts and lower quality items. As well as a variety of spoiled food, unrippened and rotten produce. These are their daily consumables. Now they have a section of fresh made Sushi. I've never seen Sushi on a Latino menu ever and what Hispanic around these parts know anything outside of the taco truck n front yard canopy taco stands. Not being racist just pointing out fact.
I love this vallarta. Upgrades to their tamale island and fruit salad ref. Are awesome. Some veggies are a little too expensive. I can still save money on a few items fir their quality. I will continue to shop when I need something on a quick trip.
I've bought meat here twice and both times the meat was rotten. I also asked the staff to give me fresh meat and for me to receive such quality is absolutely horrible. Of course i went back, complained and got fresh meat after but to be given rotten meat in the first place is a big NO.
I ordered a torta cubana and the milanesa had a rotten smell. This Vallarta sucks. I rather drive 10 more miles to the one on San Fernando Rd.
Everything I needed was here, they also have a hot food stand with authentic Hispanic dishes so that's a plus!
This particular location is fairly big and usually organized but the staff isn't the friendliest the restrooms aren't always clean and it is a bit loud their food is okay and their prices are average the parking is better than most other locations they could improve their service.
I love Vallarta. The best one is in North Hollywood on Victory Blvd. Amazing food court. Great people
Fresh food and great prices, can't beat that. They have a cool little thunderstorm in the produce section when they water the vegtable.
I love vallarta. Their food is amazing an extremely cheap. Place is clean and you can find everything you need from a supermarket
PASTEL DE 3 LECHES MALO MAS NO PODER.
Tres Leches cake? For $32+
Not even close.dry as a pancake.
And Tasteless. Manager very rude, no customer experiance she should go back to cashier position. Cakes just look fine cause of decoration but very mediocre cakes.
Great Produce Fruit & Veggies. Plus great international grains like Chia, Sesame Seeds, Quinoa.
Very Clean.
Pozole's soup very good flavor. I really liked it but was not too hot. Warn soup and get cold soon.
Starting with the manger to the employees every one is great and they have everything I need. Thanks guys for your great work
I've passed by mexicali multiple times but finally had the chance to come in this time. I got the zuperman and an al Vallarta Supermarkets. The zuperman is basically two tortillas sandwiching three types of meat and some cheese. It's tasty and provides a good vehicle for the salsas. The al Vallarta Supermarkets was good as well. I liked the pineapple on it. This spot is definitely worth coming to if you're in the area.
