This was a great way to get into the city but the homeless tent-city in the parking lot?
Welcome to California

Easy to get to.went on a Friday. Not very crowded.smooth ride to Pier 41. Weekends probably more crowded. Overall it was nice.

While this building was clean, there was no place to sit.

We got to the ferry building at about 10: 15 on a Sunday, and paid for day parking. However, we just missed the 10: 20 ferry, so we bought tickets for the 11: 40 ferry from Vallejo to San Francisco. We had to wait outside, since there was no inside seating at the time. This was fine to begin with, but as it was the middle of summer when we visited, it began to get very hot.

Eventually, it comes time for our ferry. Nothing. We had noticed the ferry not arriving, but there was no word about it, so we thought it was maybe running a few minutes late. At about 11: 50, they announce the ferry has been canceled. So, because the only other option for us was going home, and we live 3 hours away, we choose to wait for the 12: 40 ferry. Luckily, by this time, the taproom was open, so we could wait in there.

All in all, it was an okay place to visit. The ferry service was good, and the taproom food was good, but I just wish they had at least a few benches inside and they had a little better communication. They can't be at fault for the canceled ferry, because they canceled it due to engine issues they had to fix. They did offer to refund us, but we didn't need it, since we still used our original 11: 40 tickets to go on the 12: 40 ferry.

We rode from Vallejo to SF on a Sunday. The ferries were clean, fast, smooth and not crowded. The app made purchasing tickets easy. Likely, we will always go to San Francisco via the ferry. It was a very pleasant experience.

I regularly take the Vallejo ferry from San Francisco when I'm heading to Napa for a weekend. Great clean fairy, only $9 when you purchase your tickets through the app, gives you the best views of the city in my opinion. When I took the ferry last over President's Day weekend it was not busy, there was food and beverage service, and there were plugins and USB ports at every seat!

I have taken the ferry twice from Vallejo to San Francisco with my kids. We really love it.

If you buy paper tickets it's 11.00 or you can buy a clipper card for 3.00 and put money on it and the ride is then 9.00.

At the ferry station they have magazines of things to do.a ticket counter and coffee shop.

You can board the ferry about 10 minutes before departure. They open the gate and you Scan as you walk to the Ferry.

It is huge. They have seating inside or outside on the devk. We always want the deck. The view is awesome.the smell of the water.wind in my hair.incredible.

Plenty of seats inside that are comfy too if that's what you like.

The ride is about an hour and it goes so fast. I love it.

You see beautiful mountains.the bridges. Alcatraz ect.

I highly recommend trying this.so much fun.

Only have to commute to the City twice a month. Started taking the Ferry and NEVER went back to Bart. Good people, clean and safe environment. Why wouldn't you take it?

This is for the entire experience, which for me, means finding parking. I always seem to have trouble finding a quick space which to park here. The last thing anyone wishes is to worry about their vehicle after boarding the ferry. Though I have had trouble finding a spot, I’ve worried about where I’ve parked if it was gonna be ok during my outing to San Francisco. I’ve never had any other problems than finding a space fortunately. I just wish they had always a parking spot quickly available and knowing when you disembark that your vehicle is securely watched maybe by a security patrol. Beyond that the experience is not bad but I feel the prices could be a bit cheaper so those people who are giving up a vehicle to get to SF sees that there was a noticeable difference than taking a vehicle.

Super way to avoid stress just park and use a different type of transportation just great! Avoided the traffic in San Francisco!
