I'm shocked they have such high reviews. Yes they are much cheaper but I think I would rather drive to Fresno SPCA or even porterville than use this place. They do not communicate with you at all. No spay/neuter appointments available ever. Anyone I ever talk to says they had to travel to fresno or porterville to get it done. Why is that? Genuinely curious. It's definitely a way better price here than anywhere else. It's also very efficient because they don't allow you in the building you just sit in your car and wait. I think I'd rather get to go in and get my papers instead of emailed as well as be able to ask questions then get rushed in and out. If you prefer just to roll up and get it done then this is for you. I prefer the face to face contact though. No one ever answers when called either. Overall I feel like Visalia SPCA (both buildings) really suck in comparison to Fresno and porterville.

All the girls are amazing! My dog had pyometra and the spca did the surgery for a fraction of the cost compared to a typical vet. I called so many places for quotes was anything from 2k-7k and the spca did it for under $900 not only that they made special arrangements to get her in the very next day, and even made arrangements for pick up to accommodate my work schedule. I will continue to take precious to the SPCA clinic! They are amazing. And the money you spend at their clinic goes to support their animals. Support your local non profits!
You get what you pay for, yes they care for animals IF you get an appointment and as far as customer service goes, good luck.
Great experience and much cheaper than any vet clinic! I came from out of town because nowhere in my town could get her in soon enough and I will continue to come here for future needs. The drop off/ pick up system they have in place is so simple and convenient and the staff is friendly, thorough and informative.
NEVER THERE ON SATURDAY OR SUNDAY OR MORNINGS MON, TUES, WED, THURS, FRIDAY AND NEVER THERE EVENINGS MON, TUES, WED, THURS, FRI. NO HELP AVAILABLE FOR QUESTIONS. NO HELP WHEN YOU RESCUE A POSSUM ORFERAL ANIMAL AND NEED TO FIND OUT WHAT TO DO. DISGRACEFUL.
Caring, knowledgeable staff! And everything was considered from the health and age of our, 18 year old dog to her quality of life. Even found a treatment that gave her more good and happy time with our family that we could afford! ️
They were so sweet and kind in helping me when my cat I had for 11 years passed away. They even made me a little print of her nose to keep with me while I waited for her ashes to be returned and for this I am so grateful.

Best prices. It's generally easy to make a clinic appointment online unless it's needs a doctor! I have been checking online to make the neutering apoinments for my two male puppys, there are never any openings! So the markings continue! SPCA $130 other vet$400 estimate x 2 4 me!
