I have been patronizing this shop for approximately 4 to 5 years, and they never disappoint. What's outstanding to me is their Excellent Customer Service, and that is very rare from an automobile shop. They also have comparable prices, since often times my vehicles could be towed at the nearest location when my car breaks down, only for me to tow it right to Valley Smog in Lodi when convenient and getting their assessment of the damages as well as a better rate, therefore, I know they are the best around! My family has taken our vehicles for oil changes, smog, and any other mechanical issues to Valley Auto for several years because they are honest, friendly, fast and dependable.

Been going to them for almost 18 years at this location and the one they had before always excellent service and the only place my dad trusts that my mom could go to. Very trustworthy and nice definitely the owner and his employees. We will always recommend this place

I like the service here, they are friendly and knowledgeable the work is done well. They also do smog testing, that's how I found them. Good folks.

I had a run-in with a parking lot planter, got the under carriage hung up and needed to be towed off the thing. Wanted to show them, and get an appointment to get it looked over. They got me in and on the lift in a few minutes, and showed me there was only minor scrapes to a few things, nothing worth fixing. They replaced a few clips and in about short order I was on my way. I was only looking to get an appointment, and they did the inspection and fixed me up! YEA Valley! Very good folks!

Secret scammers watch out! This place is sketchy, they are quick to assume you don’t know your stuff and they refuse to go away from what their “computer says”. I know exactly what part I need that coat online $50 and that only takes 15 minutes to replace. I go to them for pure convenience so I’m willing to pay their hourly rate ($125) plus the $50 for my part. They wanted $350, excuse me for what, to hang out in your lobby or for you to pull apart some parts on my car to have me come back for a diagnostic and more work? When I asked why he just said that the computer makes the estimates and that they don’t charge anything less than an hour. So I don’t think so, plus the guys look on his face when I said I’m going to shop around confirmed everything.

Excellent repairs to pass emissions on an old truck. Should have stayed in emissionless Amador County but moved for a job.

I usually don’t leave anybody 5 star feedback, but when I do It’s for Valley Smog & Repair. My new favorite place for smogs.
