Value Inn Bellflower

Family owned. Very nice customer service. Have to pay $100 cash deposit in order to rent a room. My son and I stated here while our new apartment was in the works for us to move in. Quiet hotel, they keep it up nicely, walgreens, liquor store very close and food places to eat. All walking distance if you have no transportation. Next to the 605 freeway. Rooms are 1 bed for $85 and 2 beds $90. Nice wood floors, netflix and other apps on some t.v. S all rooms have cable, hbo etc, A/C and heat, refrigerators in rooms. Only down fall microwave in the main lobby but available all hours. Small vending machine and soda and water for $1. Definitely recommend.

The office staff is TERRIBLE. Someone left a blood stained towel in our rm and the restroom door was busted. Soo, of course we complained! An hr or so after we complained we got kicked out. Also which means from the towel itself the rm wasn't properly cleaned!

My wife and I stayed here for a couple weeks, the room was very clean & house keeping comes every day, they do a very good job.
Best thing is the family that runs this place very friendly and helpful, I definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Nice clean room and comfortable beds, Only small issue was when I first walked in I saw ants close to the bed but only very little so I just squished them and went on with my day also floor boards in bathroom are a bit sqeaky. Other than that overall I'm satisfied with our stay.

Smoke free is what it says smoke free is what I got, room was very clean all linen in place tv worked bed was clean and comfy. I would definitely stay again. Thank you

So accommodating and the rooms were so clean. Didn't even have to request extra blankets and pillows. She just brought them! If you want a cheap stay with a great clean room then this place is definitely it!

Way better than Motel 6. Every room at Motel 6 smells like cigarettes and weed. The rooms here are very clean and more spacious as well. They also have refrigerators!

Rooms were nice and updated. Bed was comfortable. Located on busy street so was a little noisy. But overall a nice place.

This place is definitely a hidden jewel!
I was looking for a place to get away for a couple weeks while I look for a place to stay. I was surprised to come across this place. They ACTUALLY take pride in their motel because most places I've been too. The room was really nice, the bed was big and comfortable enough for me and my toddler. I would DEFINITELY come here again I could go forever! No hearing ppl gettin they backs blown out through the walls, the rooms smelled nice and clean not like smoke! No altercations or police! Very friendly staff.

My stay here was great from beginning to end the staff was very nice and accommodating it was clean everything worked good I will defiantly be back and I recommend this place!

This was the best hotel Ive stayed at with a great price for covid days. Definitely returning! Daily service, friendly staff, quiet, key location, rooms are beautiful and the bed could be made a final resting place. Thank you Value lnn for a wonderful stay in Long Beach!

It’s unfortunate my experience was not as pleasant as other reviewers.

Here’s the short version:

-Room with a strong Marihuana odor
-Dirty bed sheets (brown feces looking stains)
-Bed Bugs

Upon walking inside the room, we were struck by a strong odor of marijuana. More than likely the odor was coming from a vent and/or an adjacent room. We didn’t make a big deal- we left the door open and turned on the AC on high. About an hour went by and the odor was still very strong inside the room. My guests and I were starting to get a light headache and my 9 month pregnant sister was starting to cough. We finally decided to advice the front desk about the odor. Front Desk Clerk was courteous and offered to switch us to another room. We grabbed our stuff and was about to walk into the room, when another hotel attendant stopped us and said were supposed to inform them about the odor within 2 hours upon entering the room, that it was too late to switch. They just offered to spray the room the with a deodorizer.

It was getting close to 11pm when my guests and I were getting ready to go to bed. As I was undoing the bed, I noticed a brown dried stain on the sheet and had an unpleasant odor. (I’ve attached a picture). I called the front desk to tell them about the sheet, to my shock he hotel attendant said “we don’t have any housekeepers right now, so just remove the sheets”. I literally giggled because I thought it was a joke and I reiterated his response to confirm I had understood correctly, to what he repeated to just remove the dirty sheets. I told him that I wasn’t going to sleep on top of a mattress without sheets, he said “ok come to the lobby and pick up a clean sheet”.

I was going back to bed and I noticed the pillows were also dirty. I had just given up by now, I was tired. I got a bath towel and wrapped the pillow that was less stained. The other pillow I put to the side.

I was just falling asleep when my sister who was on the other bed, woke me up and asked me if i was using both pillows, I said just 1. She said can I use the other one, I said yes but the other 1 is really dirty. She turned on the light to check how dirty it really was, when we noticed a bed bug crawling around the pillow. I have a video is this.

At 11: 40pm we got all our stuff and left. Close to midnight, we had to check into another hotel.

Please find another place to stay, in my personal opinion and experience this place is not worth it.

I’ve stayed here in the past and it’s always nice but the remodel is amazing. Everything looks great. I was was very impressed. Will be staying here again. Definitely recommend

Over all place was clean very nice felt very safe there parking lot clean for the price I think it was a perfect place would definitely go again

Very nice and clean room. Loved it. Unfortunately I had to leave around 11pm due to a family matter. But room was great. I really like it.
