Valvoline Instant Oil Change, Lake Forest CA

My husband was very pleased with the great customer service and excellent work that was done on his pride and joy Dodge Challenger! Would highly recommend this particular Valvoline shop! Great job guys! I will be bringing my car in soon too! Employee named Chris does exceptional work. But, all the guys here seem fast and friendly and do a thorough job. Very pleased with our experience here.

Came here a month ago after expressing that I didn’t want a new air filter they still continued to remove the old one and busted my mass air flow sensor after leaving the check engine light was on and caused 8 power drain codes and not being wealthy enough to fix the issues today my vacuum air pump has busted so steer clear of this amateur hour spot if you want your car to still work when leaving 0/10 never coming back

Christopher was great. He kept me informed as they were doing things to my car. He notified me of a tire defect that needed to be addressed. He also provided a recommendation of a repair shop that they've had good experiences at. Thank you!

Really convenient and fast usually, just super expensive. You can get their services done for half at other shops. I only go when I don't have the time to spend elsewhere.

Instead of offering me a synthetic blend option, the employee only presented a single choice for an oil and filter change on my Mini Cooper Countryman, which would have ended up costing me $134!

Recently moved from Canada to Orange County and haven't found a home dealership yet. Was in desperate need of an oil change and they staff was amazing. They clearly explained the process and didn't overly pressure sell me.

Stopped in to get an oil change today and was helped by Cat! Everybody was super friendly and Cat made good conversation and was very informative.

The whole service was quick and easy, and didn't feel like I was pressured to purchase a bunch of extras although they asked which I appreciate!

Just took the family to get the oil changed on our car and it was so easy. The entire team (Christopher, LeAndre, and Manny) were awesome and took great care of our vehicle. There was no pressure to purchase other services, but still good conversation about vehicle maintenance and what to keep an eye on. Will definitely be returning to this location.

It was my first time going to Valvoline for an oil change and I had a really great experience. Luckily there were only a couple of cars ahead of me so I only waited about 20 minutes to be seen. All the staff were super friendly and checked everything on my car from my lights, to tire pressure, air filter, battery and more. They weren’t pushy about any additional services and just gave me what I asked for which was a full synthetic oil change. I even found a $15 off coupon on their website that I used. Adonis, Eric, and Javier did a great job! I will definitely come back to this location.

Been going there with all my vehicles. I used to give them 5 stars but today I heard a employee say something rude about my vehicle while sitting having my oil changed.
Poor management.
Wont be going back there.

Love this place, never want to get an oil change anywhere else. It’s so quick and painless, no appt needed. You just stay in your car. They are reasonable and informative. Affordable. I like that they utilize and record everything in carfax so you can easily track what maintenance has and hasn’t been done and when it was done. Staff was helpful, kind, and accommodating (even with my 2 year old).

Quick and easy. The guys go above and beyond to assist their customers. They all work well together, which makes the service quicker. They will check your signals, headlights, breaks, air filter, fluids, and tire pressure. Fair pricing. Keep an eye out for the 20% coupon that's usually available online!

Fast convenient knowledgeable and friendly staff. Good but not great value. All in all you get what you pay for plus you're in and out and under 30 minutes for a standard oil change and a quick once over on all standard fluids and mechanical inspection.

What a great place! Just pull in, stay in car, talk with rep, work is done quickly without any problems. They check everything while you are in there and recommend what is needed but don't pressure you to have it done. I will go back!

Didn't know I could bring my own oil! Very happy with the service and how fast it was.

I am a Valvoline regular, and decided to try this location near my job. I am usually greeted and treated friendly at different locations, but I’m assuming this worker was annoyed from a long day of rain.

As soon as I get there he gave no direction. I then follow him to the left entrance once he pointed but had to turn a bit more due to my turn radius and his lack of initial direction.

Had not even crossed into the garage and he screams at me like I’m a child who doesn’t know how to slowly straighten his wheels. Super annoyed, I backed out and went to my regular location. Your worker needs to learn how to talk to people.

Customer service is everything. Didn’t want him touching my car after that engagement.
