Vanessa's Bistro 2 Vietnamese Restaurant reviews
33Went for happy hour on a Sunday. Good food. We got the beef carpaccio and some salads. Highly recommend the food. Il
The good is very enjoyable. Everything is full of flavor and it dances on your tongue, everything blending together to create magic. The water is 10/10, it's so refreshing. The man named Mike is a huge fan of Ninja Turtles and is 'lit', don't mention Carl's or Glenn's death because it's a sensitive subject to him.
Went with a colleague and really enjoyed it. We were seated on the first floor, had a waitress who did not mind answering questions and enjoyed a bit of humor. The food was quite tasty and not overpriced. They were featuring half-priced bottles of wine from their already reasonable prices, but since i was the only wine drinker, i passed. Definitely worth a return visit to try more things.
Only negative was that our waitress offered us both a choice of rice with our dishes, but neglected to tell us there was a charge for it.
Awesome staff and comfortable atmosphere. Anthony did a fantastic job setting up our company luncheon. Communication was on spot from setup to departure with both Anthony snd Vanessa. The entire team at Vanessa's Bistro ensured that our luncheon Rocked, and it did. Food was perfectly portioned and very nicely presented. This was many of those in our group, first time at Vanessa's, and we will definately be returning! Thank you and your crew!
We were pressed for time, and they put every minute to good use. Good recommendations for food and wine, the drinks and appetizers arrived super quickly and the rest was paced nicely. Everything was delicious, especially the coconut curry chicken. We'll be back for a less rushed meal!
Stopped by for the Tuesday 1/2 Tapas and $6 margaritas. The wife had a $16 glass of wine. We were surprised when we didn’t get the Tuesday pricing and the waitress said the computer came up on the wrong page. Other than having to ask for the adjustment the Tapas was good.
This place is by far the best! Atmosphere, service, drinks and food was absolutely phenomenal! It deserves more than 5 stars!
Great food, make sure you try their tapas. Filet mignon salad is one of our favorite, followed by claypot rice.
This place is disgusting! Not only did I find hairs in my food but the customer service was horrible! The bald asian guy was extremely rude and cussed out a young couple right in front of the restaurant. DO NOT CHOOSE THIS VIETNAMESE FOOD. Terrible people
Love the tapas style without the need for it to be Spanish food! The pork and spring rolls were so good. Late night happy hour drink specials were surprisingly tasty and refined cocktails. Will definitely be back.
Vanessa's is officially "headquarters" for all of the Walnut Creek locals (under 50). It's a family owned and family run business with a great staff. Mike and Anthony go the distance to take care of everyone that walks through the door.
The menu is loaded. I've been eating here for 3 years and haven't once had something a) I didn't like, or b) didn't order again.
I highly recommend Vanessa's for anyone in the area or for folks that just happen to pass through. Enjoy!
Solid food in the fusion department. If you are looking for true vietnamese though, this isn't your place.
Nice tapas but a bit overpriced and the service could have been slightly better. They reserve their tables in advance and when we went they told us we only had 1.5hours to dine because the table was reserved for later.
